game that will kick your ass and make you sob like a small child. i love it

No me gustan los juegos en los que tienes que ir de expedición y casi ni entendía de qué iba pero pasaba el rato

I never liked Mystery Dungeon when I played it as a child, but when I gave it a try later on I was pretty addicted to it. Just like Pokemon Ranger it gives a Pokemon experience, while having less repetitive gameplay that is just clicking 'x' for 6 hours in a row.

Pokemon just cannot shake its habit of making better versions of its games a year later even in their spinoffs huh.

chatot its been over a decade and i still havent forgotten.

Comment être Darwiniste quand ce jeu (15 ans d'avance sur Écarlate et Violet) est 100 fois plus beau et fun que ce que TPC sort de nos jours

had both, time and darkness <3 one of my core childhood memories

A truly timeless (ha) game jam-packed with content and a shockingly deep story. I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece like some others would, but that doesn’t mean it’s not great, with likable characters and some excellent presentation. The themes of the game hit hard and really are beautiful, and the game itself is fun to play even long after the story has ended. It’s very, very good, and every Pokémon fan should give it a go if they can. Even better, they should probably play the complete version (Explorers of Sky) that I unfortunately haven’t played yet. I’ll get to it eventually.

one of the sickest plots in gaming, for sure in pokemon. the dungeon crawler gameplay is fun, accessible, and oftentimes difficult. the characters and arcs are simple but effective. pinnacle of the genre

It's hard to come back to Explorers of Time when Explorers of Sky exists, a game which outdoes "Time" in almost every single way. Does that make ""time" bad? Hell no. Am I ever going to replay "Time" over "Sky"? Hell no.

a core piece of my childhood <3 I've replayed it countless times (I like it a little more than blue but don't tell him)

I'm sure any fan of this game will tell you that its story is top-notch. It's something that has stuck with me long after playing it, and I have replayed it a couple of times in the intervening decades. The gameplay is also quite satisfying and I would love to see more "mystery dungeon" types of games in other franchises.

Evil sad video game because you die but not actually

I love this game, I got stuck on the final boss so long as a kid I wrote out my own little notes on pen and paper. I still got them somewhere.

I remember getting real frustrated at this game as a kid. It's okay mechanically but it's in a weird state between a rogue-lite and an adventure RPG and not quite hitting the spot for either.

i couldnt understand how the combat worked but i like wigglytuff

C'est le plus beau jeu du monde

Got stuck on it as a kid but it's really fun!

I remember being surprised at how good this one was as a kid

another game i wish i could forget entirely so i could replay it for the first time... sadly the story was so good i dont think i could ever actually forget it

I hope this game gets a remake with all the QoL the original games' remake included. I finished the main story through Primal Dialga, but that's really only half the game. Postgame is absolutely brutal, especially for someone like me who doesn't really play this type of game at all outside of PMD. I only ever barely made it past the fight against the Guildmaster & Friends, and have never been interested in putting in the time to get through the rest of the postgame plot. If we ever get a PMD Explorers DX, maybe I'll give it another shot.

Seguramente cuando me lo vuelva a pasar lloraré de nuevo.

amazing game, mystery dungeon is goated. didnt finish

still one of my favourite games ever to this day. the storytelling, art, music, characters, all of it is wonderful and so so charming
