Episode Shadow is crazy short. I finished this in 20 minutes and when I finished the third level I was shocked that's all there was. Other than its short runtime I think this dlc is pretty decent, but I may be a little biased because shadow is my favourite sonic character. The story in this ties in fine enough to the main game and my biggest issue with it is probably infinites backstory. Shadow literally insulted him ONCE which made him become an evil supervillian who wants to destroy the world. I definitely think they could have made up a better origin story but other than that I would say this dlc is worth your time.

Three crappy levels for the low low price of free. Shadow's here too so what more could you really want.
Much like the levels in the base game, these are just dull roller-coaster rides with a very poorly paced uninteresting narrative. These levels are free, but I wouldn't waste your time with this if I were you.

Short but kinda not terrible maybe? Levels are meh just like the base game, but the writing and characterization are what make this kinda decent. This is the best Shadow has been since 06 (not saying much but the bar is so low).
Really bad. I like the reference to team dark from heros, but it's just. A reskin of sonic levels and overall just a lazy as the base game at least it's free but that's not an excuse.
The stages were mediocre and the story is very laughable. Half a point higher for the music

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's okay. Same review as Sonic Forces. Actually, just mod Generations to play as Shadow and your experience will be better.

Gets an extra point for being shorter than the main game so I didn't have to suffer as long. Overall, just another soulless aspect of this soulless game.

I'm gonna be honest, I completely forgot about this DLC. Looking at it, It's just barebones with 3 new stages, barely any storylines plots, and the music is just alright. Only good things about this is that shadow was playable again and infinite's I AM NOT WEAK speech lmaooo
