I don't remember why I stopped playing this one in the first place. I kinda regret it, because this was like the only interesting Sonic mobile game out there (Before Dream Team) and now it's gone.

It was an endless runner more similar to something like Mario Run, except this one was actually interesting and cool to play. It could get repetitive but it was very addicting (Plus, it had some absolute bangers when it comes to music).

I'm not losing sleep over not being able to play it officially anymore, but I wish we had this game on the play store instead of the million Sonic Dash clones that there are.

it's addicting and a surprise for me.
not really a must play but surely you can enjoy it.

Sonic Dash'ten çok daha iyi.

playing the revival version of the game this is one of the funniest time waster sonic games and best sonic mobile game, great style fun to play for a couple minutes or a hour great great game.

Sonic Runners is a great mobile game with tons of fan service and great music. The artstyle is very charming. Though playing through the main story can get very repetitive. I'd recommend this game to anyone who wants a fun endless runner to play while they're bored, especially if you like sonic

actually fun so of course they took it down

Really sad this game got taken off the app store. It's really good.

I liked it but around this time every mobile game would only work if it was connected to wifi which just completely defeated the purpose of it for me. Why the duck would I ever play a mobile game at home when I can do literally anything else

Niye kapandın be kodumun oyunu

Bueno hasta la actualización 2.0

WOW do I miss this game. I put tons of hours into it. Status as abandoned? Only because the original game can never be played again.

I miss Sonic Runners, easily the most interesting and ambitious project for a Sonic Mobile game until Dream Team, Runners was a 2D sidecroller that has simple controls but very addictive gameplay. While it has been delisted, there are still.. ways of playing it, and if you choose to do so, I think you’re in for a great time.

Runners has a very basic story, but it served as an excuse to provide different stage challenges for the types of characters.

All the characters available are split into 3 categories, Speed, Flight and Power. Speed characters had a triple jump, Flight could fly up and hover down, and power characters could dash horizontally before a second jump. Simple mechanics but when playing the game it allowed for some crazy action. The speed increased every time you reached the end of a section where you would chase Dr Eggman and try and collect rings. After hitting max speed you would then enter the infinite mode where you just keep going till you die. There were power ups you can activate as well as Wisp power ups to help you really rack up high scores.

Unlocking other characters always sucked, as most were locked behind a premium roulette that required red rings to spin, rare collectibles that they really wanted you to buy. Considering the game is down I’m glad I never did this.

I loved how the game looked, sometimes I did experience lag which is absolutely a run killer, but for what it was Sonic Runners was a hell of a great time. They also did not need to go as hard on the soundtrack as they did but damn the OST is such an underrated gem that keeps finding ways to creep into other games. I’d love if Runners got released again on something else, but it’s unlikely, and that’s sad

I Had to play a fan restoration called “Revival”. This is an endless side scrolling runner game. Sonic will automatically run right and you tap the screen to jump.

While the game is responsive and quite speedy…it’s just incredibly repetitive. There’s a “story” mode but it alternates between just getting points in the main mode and doing the same boss battle over and over. There are a lot of characters and costumes to unlock, but there’s an immense amount of grinding needed to do any of this.

The core of the game is fine, but there’s really nothing to do at all with it.

I had so much fun with this game that I kinda miss it at times. Both Runners and Sonic Dash could be the only Sonic mobile games and receive updates and that would be amazing!

C'était bien mon frère pk t'es parti aussi tôt

It's such a shame this game was shut down seeing as this is probably the best version of an "endless-runner" game Sonic has ever gotten on mobile. The soundtrack was awesome and the game design was top-notch.

Though remembering how bloated the dialogue and UI are and how abysmal the gacha rates were reminds me that maybe Sonic Team bit more than they can chew with this one. Still feel the pains of being F2P and spinning that stupid yet eye-catching wheel with <0.7% chance of getting the character I want

Wish they brought this game back. Glad I was one of the people who played it back then

genuinely floors me that sonic team made a great mobile game that perfectly meshes with sonics gameplay and then sunsetted it a year later what the fuck happened

Game is fun and looks good, but then you make it two minutes into a level and the level design becomes repetitive, insta-kill bs. Really kills the motivation to keep playing.

Why are the good mobile games always taken away so soon

actual best mobile game ever but it is removed!!!!

The soundtrack is way too good for this game.

De los mejores juegos móviles que he jugado y la música es maravillosa
Lo que era realmente malo del juego es su manera de manejar las microtransacciones pero de ahí en fuera, puta que estaba divertido

By far the best Sonic mobile game we've ever gotten. It was easy to overlook this one's flaws just for how much fun it offered and the way it celebrated the series as a whole through various events. Not a day goes by where I don't miss it and I'm glad so much of the content can be revisited in video format at least.
