I have a physical copy of this game but the poor thing doesn't work anymore.

fun game with some of the most incompetent soundtrack porting known to man

Holyyy I did not expect this game to be this difficult. I got stuck on so many levels and came so close to dropping this game completely. Bowsers castle was SOO HARD, I spent like 2 hours straight tryna beat him. Glad I stuck with it and finished it up.

Probably the peak of mario. moderately difficult if you're a kid, but has loads of optional content that's blisteringly hard. Gotta love a platformer that was something for everyone. The soundtrack is iconic too.

The first Mario game that I have ever owned, but not played! This would technically be my second. I still have yet to finish it, but this may be my favorite Mario game of all time... Well, at least the original is. I love it to death, and I also really love Mario Odyssey.

Loved this port. Bought this when I was young for the plane ride to Portugal. Thanks Mom!

This is a fantastic version of a fantastic game. I played the hell out of this as as a kid, it being the first version of the game I encountered, and perhaps my favorite? The physics I think are a fair bit tighter than in the original game, which is very nice by comparison. It's really satisfying to find all the hidden exits and reveal hidden paths in the overworld. I also like it when the Piranha Plants turn into pumpkins at the end.

I much prefer the artstyle of Super Mario Bros. 3, the gameplay is fine but I'd rather play a different Mario game.

My favorite 2D Mario, even if the colors are a bit washed out. I'm a sucker for slightly different character capabilities in platformers.

Still an incredible game, but screen scrunch makes it less enjoyable.

Best way to play Super Mario World, hands down. It improves somethings and Luigi adds even more replay value. People make such a big deal out of the screen crunch, especially when in-game Donut Plains 3 brings up camera controls. Dare I say the SNES version's overrated and is only good for 2 player.

Uno de los mejores Mario 2D y diría que de los que más mecánicas tiene.

the first mario game i ever played. i dont think i ever made it past the first castle lol

It's Super Mario World on the Game Boy Advance.

The sound quality is worse than the original thanks to the GBA's sound chip, and it adds voice clips to Mario and Luigi. I know some folks found that annoying, but because I grew up with them, I've never had a problem and I found them really fun and charming. Still do, honestly. Wish I could figure out a way to get the voices on the SNES version of the game since it has better visuals and audio.

Anyways, you're probably better off playing the SNES version unless you really wanna hear Mario shout "Let's a-go" all the time.

Well, it's Super Mario World ported to the GBA with lots of QoL improvements, nothing else to say, amazing game.

It sure is Super Mario World on the Game Boy Advance

If we were talking about the quality of life features added in this version (particularly the ability to immediately warp to any level on the map screen, ability to save at any point and actual reward for achieving all Yoshi coins), I'd say this would potentially be an improved version of the game, but the washed out visuals and compressed, screechy soundtrack do drag it down for me. Minor nitpick but I also wish they just used the SMAS+W sprite for Luigi.

still a solid port of the best Mario game though.

Nostalgia de Game Boy Advance, este juego sabe a tardes en casa con un zumito y un bocadillo de mortadela

Super Mario World with super mario, enough said.

Overall a well done conversion of a classic. Yeah, there is screen crunch and the music is a bit compressed, but it doesn't ruin the experience that much, the game is still one of the best 2D platformers of all time.

more like super mario retract

This game does what the other truly great Mario games do, give the player joy through variety. Mario jumps and does some other stuff if he has power-ups or Yoshi, and all the gameplay toys with that. The key I think if that the variety here is a just a bit broader than others in the series. It slaps.

A handheld way to play a GOATed game.

This was my first Mario game. Solid port of World from SNES. Music's great, more added features for GBA, and it added Yoshi. Not my favorite 2d Mario, but still a classic in its own right.
