I don't know most of these new additions but its fun.

If this is how one of the best fan games ever made started I suddenly feel better about my own work now

My greatest achievement in my life is unlocking all the roster in 1 single afternoon (my cousin was coming and since I wasn't at my house I didn't have my save file)

we didn't played it

abysmal game but incredible time capsule of mid-2000s internet zeitgeist

made middle school homeroom goated

I would always try playing it and it would always crash

Never played this as a kid cuz I actually had the real game LOL but it was nice to finally experience it even though every character is extremely slippery and hard to control (especially that fuckin OC Blade). I don't have nostalgia bias and the game's not that nice so it gets a solid, non-slippery 2.

This game was my childhood man, I played this one... so fucking much.

I'd go back home from school, open up some flash site, and just, play this game all day.

I recognize now that it's really, not good at all in a lot of ways? But this is what got me into smash and I'm incredibly grateful for it!

Love this game!

Elite game for the back of class with friends

Fun for its time in the sun, but has definitely aged in comparison to its followup. Mr. Incredible boosts the score by a point though.

Morbid curiosity led me here. I played the shit out of this as a kid... why can't I boot up and unlock all the characters now? The secrets I knew (and/or the patience I had) to accomplish that task are lost to me now.

This is kind of a beautiful relic. A distilled product of its time. An ugly fan-made flash game with the dev's sonic OCs injected into it. It simply would not make sense for it to be playable.

You think Kira Buckland would believe me if I went back to 2006 and told her she would be voicing 2B and Jolyne Kujo after doing voicework for this piece of shit?

This game is the epitome of the pure Flash game jank I signed up for in my childhood browsing Newgrounds

the world's first superslike

well it has some value because this was the beginning of super smash flash 2.... I guess
And how does this thing have an official tier list? Who would play this competitively?

Was fun with friends. It's terrible compared to SSF2.

So much fun to be had by people like me that were poor and didn't have good PCs either

Objectively isn't a good game, I will plainly admit that, but I would be damned to shit on a game that I got so much enjoyment out of as a kid.

Mom can I play newgrounds rumble. NG rumble at home.

if you played this when you were a kid, you were a real one. gameplay sucked even back then though

back in middle school i used to play this game so much and play with others... fun ass times

This borderline unplayable mess may be a 2/10 objectively speaking, but it's a 10/10 in my heart. I miss the flash era man.

my honors biology class was my first period freshman year, and my teacher openly hated teaching freshman. he only taught honors bio because the school forced him to teach one period of it to justify him teaching upperclassmen in AP biology. this was very obvious to everyone, especially my class who he never taught anything to. instead he would post one question he copied off a random quizlet onto the board, let us copy the answer from the same quizlet, and then give us the rest of the period free.

needless to say, we did nothing productive or educational. super smash flash DOMINATED that classroom, and i remember my friend dennis kicking my ass in every single match we played together. it was so unfair. i dont really care for smash much outside of as a party game, and the controls on this sucked especially if you were playing on the same shitty, tiny laptop. fond memories, though.
