Taz: Wanted attempts to capture the chaotic spirit of the Tasmanian Devil in a 3D platformer full of destructive potential. While the cel-shaded graphics hold some Looney Tunes charm, the gameplay is plagued by frustrating camera controls, awkward jumping mechanics, and repetitive level design. The whirlwind mayhem Taz is known for is rarely satisfying, and the inclusion of minigames and unlockable costumes can't redeem the core experience. Taz: Wanted is a missed opportunity that likely only die-hard fans of the character will find some enjoyment in.

Taz Wanted was a solid little licensed game. Loved the cel-shaded art style!

jogo muito bom pra jogar, quando se é uma criança

I remember being the equivalent of a toilet tie-in game: it's there, you wipe with it and that's the memory that will stick from it.
Not a coincidence that the game itself was filled with toilet humour from what I can remember.

Ngl: destroying stuff in the game was kinda funny, but the actual goals weren't much (finding all the Taz wanted posters iirc).

This one was one of my first PS2 games, or at least one of the first ones I remember playing.

I just remember I loved to play it for the Looney Tunes slapstick, and it was simply fun to run around in a tornado as the Tasmanian Devil.

Nostalgia tells me it was actually a solid game, but I want to revisit it someday when I have the time.

Por algum motivo eu nunca consegui passar da cachoeira

I couldn't finish this game, for some reason still don't know how to beat second fight of the Yosemite Sam. Also I always wondered why they decided on making a stealth game about tazmania?? It was weird. But had a lot of fun tho when I was a kid.(Also frustration with the wonky platforming and stealth system)

description for this game reads like 4th grade book report where you didn't read the book

This might just be the most fun platformer out there. You give main character insane speed but levels are never boring to explore. And the gimmick of having to "assemble" random props in the hub world to unlock world boss is genius.

This game is far too long for how unpolished and bare the game feels to control and play through. I played for like 3.5-5 hours in total with no ending in sight and I just couldn't do it.

A decent 3D platformer that would hold up today if it weren't for the terrible camera and controls. Levels are well designed and finding all secrets isn't frustrating at all. It's a game that lets you explore. Also, don't bother trying the final boss. As a kid I couldn't beat it, as an adult I had the power of savestates. It's so poorly made it's not worth your time.

forgotten gem collectivthon game

is there literally anything to say here. does anyone really care what i have to say about a 2002 licensed collectathon featuring Taz The Tazmanian Devil. does anyone really fucking care.

if you do, this game fucking sucks. the camera is awful and gives me a headache, platforming is just miserable because you have such awful control of your momentum in air, and the fucking noise pollution this game creates is just grating. remember how, in arkham asylum, the joker would comment on the shit you were doing and it'd usually be contextual and related to wherever you were or what you were doing? imagine that but with absolutely no specificity and yosemite fucking sam's shrill voice every five seconds. i personally love hearing literally only like 8 different voice clips (such as "YOU'RE A DRIVIN' UP MY BLOOD PRESSURE", "OOOOOOH YOU'RE AS BAD AS THAT PESKY RABBIT" and "STOP THAT YA... YA... YA CRITTER!") every time i spin anything in this game.

it's really a shame, because i almost like some of the level design and goals in this game? every stage has relatively creative presentations for "destroy this image of taz", with my favorite being "swiffer this floor until the image is gone", but it just cannot save a dead gameplay engine. even for 2002, this is fucking bad. enemies, like in hitman, have two modes: one, complete and utter obliviousness and two, psycho mantis when you're plugged into player one's slot. the only way you can get rid of guards is fucking tedious and wildly inconsistent, and some enemies you just flat out cannot even remove from the level, making exploration that much more tedious when you're going through with a fine-tooth comb for 100%.

i cannot say enough bad things about this game. this actively gave me headaches every time i sat down to play it. i have not even touched on the boss fights and literally all i'm going to do is link one of them and leave it at that (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2C6uXVuK0E). my advice for you as someone who enjoyed this as a child is that your nostalgia is lying to you. this controls worse than you remember. this sounds worse than you remember. this is less fun than you remember. leave your positive memory of this untouched and pristine, because that's all it can ever be.

The cell shading and overall art style is AMAZING for its time. A childhood classic for sure, recently revisited it and it's fun just like any old 3d paltformer collect-a-thon but it's filled with questionable design decisions, ike come on Taz is all about speed, yet they never miss a chance to slow you down with bombs and slippery floor and precise annoying platforming. Destroying things is quite satisfying tho.

Je parlais comme Taz à 6 ans, ça n'a pas changé .

My boyfriend fucking hates this game

A pretty amazing game from the developers of my nemesis, Glover. Easily the best looney tunes game, a collectathon that uses toon logic all the way throughout.

this game was hard as hell to play but my god i loved it. i loved zooming around and exploring, i loved the art style, and i was able to actually beat it when i was a kid! big accomplishment on my part.

PIU PIU EU CONFIEI EM VC PIU PIU

There are some points where the physics and platforming are painfully annoying, and the story is appropriately stupid, but overall this is surprisingly well-made.

The graphics and general level aesthetic fit the Looney Tunes style particularly well. And some of the music has frankly been stuck in my head ever since I first played this at the age of 5.

Rablagabligagrabblerabble-oops indeed. Godspeed Taz.

Had this game growing up. It's competent in a lot of ways and terrible in others. Couldn't really end fast enough after the 2nd hub. Level design doesn't cater to Taz's spin as much as I would like. They're decently designed otherwise and they help you out a lot with shortcuts. Certain mechanics are extremely frustrating.

OOOOOOOOOOH I'LL CATCH THAT VARMINT!

Great, very fun game if you can get past the technical problems and some questionable levels. Replayed this year on Xbox OG, still owns. The construction site level is a masterpirece.

Another great childhood game. I forgot everything about it though.

My friend informed me there is a song swiped from Limp Bizket in this so it's even cooler now.
