The idea of raising Kaiju is a really fun one. Unfortunately, the gameplay just isn't for me. It's mostly watching animations while your monster's stats go up or down, and the battles involve a lot of waiting for your guts stat to refill so you can attack. The game also doesn't run well at times, and the dialogue is full of references I don't get to previous Monster Rancher games.

This game made me come to the conclusion that I should never have children. Either they will destroy me or I will destroy them. Until I can fuse Jimmy so he becomes Eleking Jimmy then I will resent my hypothetical child forever.

Its a good game. I will say its really only for people who already really like monster rancher or like Kaijus. anyone else might have a hard time getting into the game

Started playing this with a friend but had to put away our monster child so that he could raise his first human child. Pretty safe to say we won't be picking this back up for a bit, it's good though! Classic Monster Rancher, combat is snappy, good monsters. May his human child also grow to learn a sick horn charge.

It's pretty fun. A little tedious but got all the things you'd want from a Monster Raising game. I love my big dumb Kaiju.
