If battle royale games were a thing I cared for, I would play a lot more of this

it was fun for a bit. i was terrible at it.

Pretty decent Fortnite clone. Wouldn't mind playing this one again.

Update: Getting back into the game and its amazing the second time around. I don't know why I didn't get into it before but its better than I remember it to be. The new characters, maps and items to collect does add to its replay ability (just as long as you don't get mad at every loss you get before your crowned champion).

This was the best BR until Warzone came out.

I hate this game so fucking bad I hate everything about it but bloodhound is the love of my life and everyday I come home and kiss them tenderly on the cheek as they make dinner for two and feel nothing but a sense of unaltered serenity and it compares to nothing else. 10/10

In the viciously over saturated market of FTP battle royales, apex was something special. Even if only for a little while

I feel like this Battle Royale brought enough quality of life improvements to the genre along with not-entirely-bland characters, good gunplay and fun mobility. QoL stuff that a seasoned FPS dev would know like pointing at things and saying "let's go there". Honestly kind of insane nobody had thought of that shit before.

best BR on the market to date, but suffers from horrific balancing issues and a lack of competitive support that the game desperately needs

Sad that it ditched Titanfall's movement options but hey you can still SLIIIIIIIIDE

Turns out I just don't like Battle Royales.

i play this game cassually and i have fun with it, nothing seems unbalanced from my unexperienced point of view. recommended if you just want a fun time with friends

Picked this up because I thought it looked like more of an Overwatch version of Fortnite. Turns out I really just wanted to play more Overwatch.

The gunplay is some of the best I've seen in any battle royale, but I just don't have any motivation to continue playing once my friends drop it. At least PUBG, as much of a mess as that game is, was addicting for a while, solo or otherwise. Ultimately, it's one of the most mechanically solid battle royales, but with one of the most limited sets of game modes, and it still ultimately feels like a diversion from Titanfall 2's already incredible--and more mechanically rich--multiplayer.

As all battle royales, it's bad, but I have a vendetta against it for actively killing Titanfall 3. Fuck this game, fuck EA.

Probably has the most fine tuned shooting mechanics in any battle Royale, and some of the most balanced gameplay of any hero shooter. Really is the best of both worlds.

The best BR there is. Most of my playtime in 2020 is dedicated to this game. Just brilliant, although more frequent updates, bug and server fixes would greatly benefit, because it really deserves.
