It's a Lego game in the Harry Potter Universe. At this point I think everyone knows if they will like it or not.

This one didn't make me take a 4 month hiatus like the first game did. I actually quite enjoyed Years 5-7.

It does some good improvements over Years 1-4. I don't constantly hear a remix of the Harry Potter theme. The spells you unlock are more interesting. There are more trophies to earn and they are less tedious. Buying characters is easier and I don't have to scroll all the way to the end. Unlockables are easier and more satisfying. I like how there's a ghost in each area that'll tell you what you collected and what's missing. Ron isn't useless and has unique, cool traits.

That being said, there are some things Years 5-7 did worse than Years 1-4. There are now loading screens for some reason. Going from diagon alley to Hogwarts is a pain. A lot of levels seem filler. The boss fights are too long for a Lego game. The dueling was fun at first but when you have to do it 3/4 times a level it becomes a slog. This is the point where the movies start getting serious, but the stupid noises and jokes ruin any intensity. I know it's Lego but come on.

Overall, better than the first, but still a mediocre game.

There was no open world on the ipad version

O primeiro LEGO que eu joguei a me causar dor física por querer finalizar logo.

The missions of this one are actually much better and more fun than the boring ones of 1-4 but I confess that the exploration of Hogwarts was much better in the previous one (although not far behind) I also need to talk about the graphics in the remaster that FUCK.. .. BEAUTIFUL!!

Definitely better than the first game with years 1-4 in terms of quality, level design, and other ways. Felt more fun and less like a drag than the first one. There are still better lego games out there, though.

The setting, music and playability are still really nice but I found a bunch of the levels to be really tedious in this one - so many duels, so much catching and spinning an object back at the boss. Still, nice to play with a partner and there were definitely a few quality of life changes from the first game to this one.

If you like Lego games and/or Harry Potter give it a try! there was a time when I liked both of these things and that was a long time ago. perfectly serviceable Lego game but idgaf about HP so every extrenous spell system and exploring Hogwarts was honestly kind of lost on me
