I have mixed feelings about this one, because it's the gatcha I wanted from Pokemon... but it's also... not... really... the gameplay I wanted. The writing isn't particularly deep, which is standard for gatcha games just starting out, but it's decently charming. It feels tonally not too different from the Pokemon anime, which is alright, but I kind of prefer the tones of Pokemon ORAS and SM and hope they eventually move closer to those. I'm hoping to see it take us all on a wild ride a few more years down the line like FEH and Granblue Fantasy did, though, because I love when that happens.
Anyway the gameplay is... alright, but I don't know, I'd prefer something more turn based than real time. The shared move gauge kind of leaves you waiting for a bar to fill up and it's kind of hard to get really clear details on what the trainer skills do a lot of the time. That's just me though. Maybe other people like it more? Anyway, it's pretty grindy in between the story and events, too.
I did get Guzma, though, so I can't hate this game. Also you can have Jessie and James and that rules. I hope they add more characters from other branches of the franchise like the anime, the spinoff games, and Special at some point. Where the heck is N, though?

Pokemon mobage that starts off really great but then gets way too grindy that I just got tired.
This is like one of the best pokemon soundtracks and I'm not even joking they went insane other than that it's alright
The models and animations and visual polish in this are significantly better than any other Pokemon game, and that upsets me.
Pokémon gacha game featuring characters from all of the generations and a godly soundtrack. Main story is easy and generic but the events present a good challenge.

This game is nice primarily because we get to see so many pokemon characters come alive for us to interact with. Fun to have all your favorite pokemon characters in your roster, and the gacha is not as greedy as most. Regardless, the gameplay is horribly boring and the choice to use 3D graphics means visual limitations leave a lot to be desired. If this was not a shitty mobile gacha game it would probably have been really cool.
Gachas just aren’t for me, best part was giving some old characters just a hint of personality.

Was on and off it for a bit till I completed the main first chapter story, and I only picked it up after dropping it because I could get my son Hop.
Tem umas histórias secundárias muito boas (como a do Ghetsis), mas a principal é bem foda-se. Mas o Lear é um ótimo personagem, não ironicamente. Continua sendo um gacha, entretanto.
El gameplay es bastante aburrido, pero lo perdono nada más porque en el gacha no me ha ido tan mal :P
If you really like Pokemon/Pokemon characters you might enjoy this, but otherwise its not really worth the grind. Trying to optimize your battle strategy can be fun, but figuring out how to play any combination of trainer semi-optimally isn't that hard, and the game becomes kinda boring after that. On top of that, it's mostly just grinding. Game has some cute dialogue tho.

Simultaneously the best and worst thing I can say about this game is that it left me wanting to play other Pokemon video games.

Gachas are not for me but the gameplay was worse than some other gachas, kinda boring to me. But it's nice to see familiar characters with cool and new outfits.
The fact that this is probably one of the best uses of the IP nowadays is worrisome, to say the least. It's not the worst gacha in existence, but it is a gacha, and an expensive one at that. Every day playing it is a test of resilience against exploitation of FOMO.
However, not only does it tell genuinely good stories with the characters from the franchise -- within the boundaries of what is acceptable for a kids' game, of course -- but it offers one of the most exciting and challenging single player experiences in the history of the franchise. And of course, it has banger remixes of tracks from the games, as well as stellar character designs.
I keep playing it, hoping it will never piss me off enough that I have to quit.

Amazing free game with lots of lovely events that expand on characters and add more personality to the cast by letting them interact freely with everyone. Plus, the costumes are all lovely.
surprisingly decent for gacha trash, i think it's great if you ever enjoyed the trainers from the pokemon games as it does a great job providing new stories, themes, and outfits for them. better than swsh LOL
