if i had to play one game for the rest of my life i honestly wouldnt feel too bad if this was it

few things brought me as much joy as trapping the park inspector on an island and running a rollercoaster into him

Given that congregating in public spaces is way down in the current climate, RCT3 functions pretty well as a people watcher if you're having trouble doing that right now. Make a park (I had multiple zones connected by monorails) and watch as lines ebb and flow over time. It's a nice feeling.

Less into this one than the other two. Missions got me stuck for a while.

Used to play this a ton. What really stuck out to me was the amount of control you can have with the wall construction tools to build huge freeform structures. The campaign was also tons of fun.

Super fun sandbox, never bothered trying any other game mode. Hours upon hours were dumped into the usual Tycoon formula making a super cool park with every possible ride and then converting it into a death trap.

me and my good friend moss played this game and we made the horses have a massive orgy
and then a tiger came and ate them all
turned them into big pieces of ham
i kinda wish i played this as a kid now it looks funny as hell

when i was a kid i would watch so many videos of people making coasters that would collide into guests for hours and hours

I sat my mom down to go into first-person view of one of my rides. She nearly threw up.

Honestly could never get into this one, or any other rollercoaster based game besides rct1+2. Not sure if I just lost interest as I got older or just enjoyed the design of the other games more

pretty cool serial killer simulator where you can make people ride your shitty rollercoasters in an unending loop for all eternity

This gets 5 stars for the soundtrack alone. When I close my eyes to meditate I get transported back to RCT3.

it isn't bad, i guess. but it definitely didn't have the same charm as the first two games. fireworks shows were cool though

Regardless of what anyone says, this was my favourite RTC. Full 3D, first-person mode for rides. First time I had to upgrade a graphics card too.

I played this age way too much as a kid just trying to make cool ass coasters... They sucked

Make a single straight path going into the park. Then: one-way entry right by the entrance, free balloon stall, fast forward. Make a rollercoaster that loops round directly onto the path. Repeat.

It's very fun to design parks, and having played this as a kid, it's hard to go back to the isometric ones. That said, the design tools in this version are limited and janky, and there's not enough variety in many of the options for certain park themes.

I probably came to this a bit too late, but I can appreciate it for what it is.

this game taught me how tourist traps work
