pretty cool serial killer simulator where you can make people ride your shitty rollercoasters in an unending loop for all eternity

still a fun game it lost some of the charm that made the first 2 games so special, also the fact people are not in straight lines really infuriates me

i understand why people find this to be the weakest point in the series but i really just can’t get over the beautiful, awfully goofy 3d aesthetics of this game, the surreal imagery of the figures ethereally drifting through the park, and how above all of its dated tendencies it still manages to feel so smooth, user interface is fantastic and the POV function is an absolute game changer, genuinely a better game than planet coaster BECAUSE of its dorkiness

fun fact this game is made by atari

me and my good friend moss played this game and we made the horses have a massive orgy
and then a tiger came and ate them all
turned them into big pieces of ham
i kinda wish i played this as a kid now it looks funny as hell

This game made me fall in love with the Tycoon genre.
There is something tranquil and mesmerizing about building your park piece by piece, watching guests enjoy your rides, which you carefully built to fit in the scenarios to look pretty.

Setting up prices to your rides, shops, hell, even bathrooms but don't do that .
And watching that $ balance go up.
Keeping your park clean, raising your janitors salary to keep them happy.
Hire mascots, that fit in with your park's theme.

This and more; one of the best Tycoon games ever made, coupled with the Wild! and Soaked! expansions, which add respectively the ability to make zoos and aquaparks... it just never stops giving.

Best roller coaster game lol

Make a single straight path going into the park. Then: one-way entry right by the entrance, free balloon stall, fast forward. Make a rollercoaster that loops round directly onto the path. Repeat.

Honestly could never get into this one, or any other rollercoaster based game besides rct1+2. Not sure if I just lost interest as I got older or just enjoyed the design of the other games more

i miss being a child.. i miss being able to be creative without consequence.. just me, my PC and RCT3.. that's enough for me

if i had to play one game for the rest of my life i honestly wouldnt feel too bad if this was it

It will never not be funny to launch a coaster into a line of peds!

Destroying child balloon is so fun

Given that congregating in public spaces is way down in the current climate, RCT3 functions pretty well as a people watcher if you're having trouble doing that right now. Make a park (I had multiple zones connected by monorails) and watch as lines ebb and flow over time. It's a nice feeling.

I remember playing this game before even knowing what the 'Internet' was. If any one game defined my earliest childhood, it was this one. And how fun it still is! Especially the first-person was revolutionary for my tiny little brain!

Listen it's nowhere near as good as the first 2, but it's still a lot of fun

This gets 5 stars for the soundtrack alone. When I close my eyes to meditate I get transported back to RCT3.

it isn't bad, i guess. but it definitely didn't have the same charm as the first two games. fireworks shows were cool though

Super fun sandbox, never bothered trying any other game mode. Hours upon hours were dumped into the usual Tycoon formula making a super cool park with every possible ride and then converting it into a death trap.

It's very fun to design parks, and having played this as a kid, it's hard to go back to the isometric ones. That said, the design tools in this version are limited and janky, and there's not enough variety in many of the options for certain park themes.

Best one in the series

love how the game has both zoo's and waterparks, the best of the best :)

few things brought me as much joy as trapping the park inspector on an island and running a rollercoaster into him

pillar of my childhood. unfortunately it just doesn't hold up nowadays.
