I've always written this game off for what it did to interesting elder scrolls lore (especially with regards to the Nords), lack of meaningful choice, short and abruptly ending questlines, and how everything eventually begins to feel very samey. Well, all of that is still true, but I recently gave it another go with a different frame of mind.
I'm always looking for games which give me the feeling of exploring a living breathing world. While there are many things this game could have done to give the player that feeling that it either doesn't do or simply fails upon, it does the job well enough to get me to keep going. There's simply not many games that do this sort of thing; like, here's this whole nation that you can explore and learn about the people who inhabit the land and their culture and history. The drive to play a game that does this well enough brought me back to Skyrim, and after exactly ten years I finally could say I pretty much finished the bulk of the content.
It's alright. Play Morrowind.
Note: I played this on Switch, and being able to undock and play in handheld mode is a big part of my being able to finish it, that said this game is worth it solely for the modding community on PC. So much hard work and passion for stuff that will end up being available for free, it's great. Some mods could be their own fully released games themselves, such as Enderal.

A fantastic precursor to BOTW. I've played it for 100s of hours and still have yet to complete all the quests. It's literally a solo D&D adventure with a ton of customization as far as your skills and loadout go. My only nitpick is the game is visually dark and some areas on the map are generic and same-y looking.
I'm not sure how to put into words how I feel about this game. It has really become my comfort game whenever I'm stressed or anxious. From the storytelling, to the gameplay, everything just feels so personal and really makes me happy like no other game I've ever played. This game really means a lot to me
Fiz 200 e poucas horas no PS3.
Another game that I could play forever due to the customization, moveset, and all of the expansions that are included with the Switch version of Skyrim. The world and story are vast and you can really do whatever you want like other Bethesda games. When I finished on Switch, it was the first time that I actually finished the game story and did all of the side quests that I could find.
My experience with this game was that I went to the first town after that cave bit, I accidentally hit a child with my weapon, the whole town started to attack me, I ended up getting some sort of stat boost, and then I turned the game off while laughing my ass off.
I'd love to return to Skyrim one day but I always crack a smile whenever I remember the blip of time I spent playing it lmao.

Can be pretty fun, discovering cool locations, meeting up with the locals, fighting all sorts of weird things, customisation, cool quests to go on, getting super immersed in the world, especially caves and dungeons (recommend with headphones on) and just messing around in general. Despite playing the switch version, it still ran at a stable frame rate and looked really nice, I'd litteraly just stop and admire my surroundings, listening to the sound of crashing waves with a gentle breeze, quite the experience.
I do have some gripes with the game, such as the basic and stiff movement options, grinding is slow, and the general jank of the game do drag it down a bit for me.
But nonetheless, I think Skyrim on the switch is a fun time to just sink an hour or two into every now and then, if you like open world, exploring and fantasy, then I highly recommend it.
