I remember the gameplay being rancid. I spent more time playing with the storyline creator, where I had Kane murdering everyone and kidnapping Obama, sending in hitman to kill Rey Mysterio (for some reason) and The Great Khali beating the shit out of Luigi cause the toilets are clogged, and John Cena being a dumbass detective, beating the shit out of Kane and gets congratulated by the ghost of Rey Mysterio

A step up from 09 in terms of content but the presentation still wasn't great.
At the time I loved the inclusion of story designer mode but it's incredibly limited and made redundant compared to what 2011 offers.
Sadly the community creations is now gone as is most of the appeal of this game.
Soundtrack and story modes were unmemorable by this point. Gameplay was still at a low point - slow and boring.

You basically become Santino Marella, then feud with Santino Marella, then fight Vince at WM.
Wtf.

A fun time but it certainly isnt one of the all time great wrestling games. Not even the best svr game.

Really good, it didn't have a really outstanding game mode that you could come back and play constantly, but Road to Wrestlemania is cool for the first time you play it and Story Designer is fantastic (while still not being as full as the following ones were), still missing a GM Mode or Universe Mode, gameplay and graphics are top notch as well

The 2010 game that came out in '09 and is based mostly on wrestlers from '08

This game has some amazing content; rtwm, creations, so many different match types etc but since SvR2007 these games are so easy even on hardest difficulty.

I actually don't really like this one and for no specific reason. I like 2007 but then I only like 2011 and up.

I was obsessed with WWE for like 2 years and I thought Randy Orton was so cool

They added create a Story which was the best thing they ever did. Gameplay still sucks but with so many create features it almost makes up for it. I spend about 90% of my playtime creating Stories and Finishers.

Also I created a two Part Story called Foagy Story which was the first full story I ever created and I plan on Rebooting it as a standalone game at some point. That is why SVR2010 is very special to me.

Create a super star was so fun. Lets be real no one plays this for gameplay only for the crazy things you can do to make crazy homunculus dudes. This game delivers 10 fold.

I have 33% of the achievements unlocked in this game and I can't remember a damn thing about it.

Only notable thing about this entry is the momentum bar become a ring around the wrestler. Cannot tell you anything else.

Damn, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Cryme Tyme, and the awesome character customization. Plus, (based on my nostalgia-ridden memories) the gameplay was awesome. Good times

Ótimo roster e RTWM Mode (principalmente o Brand Warfare, onde é possível jogar co-op). Pena que o "Carrer Mode" desse game não é dos mais legais. As escolhas do RTWM Mode são legais.

This was a giant leap forward for the SmackDown vs. Raw series. For a yearly franchise, many improvements and features were added, which made it very difficult to go back and play SvR2009.

Create-a-wrestler mode had a more realistic look where CAW's could now stand next to in-game superstars and look very similar to them. More parts look 3D and realistic rather than being painted on. An in-game paint tool was added for creating logos. There are 50 CAW slots, along with CAW's now having a total of 4 attires. Story Designer made its debut, allowing players to create storylines and set up shows and PPV's within them. Road to Wrestlemania mode added a playable Diva (which I remember being like an early version of the real-life WWE Women's Evolution storyline) and CAW storyline.

While Divas could no longer fight male wrestlers, they could not be used in any gimmick match type. A new Training Facility/Control Tutorial was added. Royal Rumble mode introduced a few new button based elimination mini-games. Championship Scramble match was introduced. Best of all? Community Creations, the long-standing feature where players can upload, rate, share, search for and download creations was introduced.

Gameplay felt mostly the same, with a few small touch-ups and refinements. UI was cleaned up to give it a more WWE HD TV like feel. Career Mode was still present, but mostly useless since the annoying stat increase system carried over to matches played with CAW's in Exhibition matches.

Some parts of SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 could have been done better and minor glitches can occur, but it was and still is an amazing blueprint for features, tools, refinements and creations added to the evolution of an installment in a franchise.

BEAST of a wrestling game. Basically added up on the formula of the previous one and made it bigger and better.

The series surprisingly got back on track after the disappointments that were 2007 and 2008

Gotta love Road to Wrestlemania.

Not quite as good as what came after but this game was so fun to play as a kid. Also gets a bonus point because it had 2 Skillet songs on the soundtrack.

Create-A-Story mode is great, decent game
