The Biggest Scott Pilgrim Hater thinks the Scott Pilgrim Game is pretty good. I mentioned that I did not like the Scott Pilgrim comic and the Edgar Wright directed film when I gave my final thoughts for Scott Pilgrim Takes Off on Anilist. For the Scott Pilgrim Game, I think it is a pretty good beat 'em up.

I played through this game with my brother and we had a good time. Make sure you level up and increase your stats because if you do not, you are screwed. This needing to level up and increase your stats adds an unnecessary tedium in the game, which sucks.

Gideon's second form is the worst part of the game. I get it, final boss, but my god, this was so hard. For the love of god, do not lose the Power of Love. We lost the Power of Love when a part of the platform we were on fell, so we had to fight Gideon by hand. It took forever even with our stats maxed out. If you lose all your lives like we did, you have to start his stage all over again.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is a pretty good beat 'em up, but the tedious grinding and Gideon's second form prevent this game from being great.

unsure if this is something i'll come back to. i like scott pilgrim a lot and this game definitely has the style, personality, vibes, etc. but god as a video game it is just kinda lame. it takes way too long to unlock new moves, it takes way too long to kill enemies (not because of health amount but because of how hitting enemies is in this game), it feels way too easy to die and get lost when playing with friends, idk man. it seems like it has potential to play well and can have moments where it's a little fun but it needs to be better mechanically. when i played this with a couple other friends we got up to level 4 i think, game overed, and then our other plans for the day were starting so we put this game down and never came back. maybe i'll have to give it another shot in the future because in my mind i would at least like to beat this game with some other people

Am I crazy or is this game too hard?

I tried to play it multiple times, with both of my sisters and even once with my cousin who actually plays videogames, but every single time we just got our asses kicked.

Idk if I had the set the difficulty too high or what, but there would always be too many enemies on screen and they would take a LOT of hits before they actually were knocked out.

I legit have not gotten past the first level lol. I wanna give this game another shot, but I don't really like playing beat 'em ups alone.

This is a really fun beatemup. I am a big fan of the Scott Pilgrim comic, and like those comics this game exudes charm. The gameplay is fun and the soundtrack is really good. I can see myself revisiting this game in the future.

While I generally liked the game, there are a couple complaints I gave about it. I think you start the game with too few moves. The combat in this game is really fun, but it may not feel as fun early early because there will be so many moves you just can't access. I also don't like that the items in the shop don't tell you what they do before you buy them, so I had to buy the item to see what it did. Maybe there is a way to check but I'm not sure how.

Overall, I think it's a pretty solid game and if you like Scott Pilgrim, I can't recommend this game enough. I definitely don't recommend playing this game without reading the comics or at least watching the movie, unless you don't care about understanding what is actually happening.

- Resumir de manera entretenida la historia.
- Es divertido en su sistema de combate y movimiento en el espacio.
- Da guiños y referencias a la película y a otros videojuegos como Zelda, Mario o incluso Las Tortugas Ninjas.
- Su arte pixel es una maravilla.
- El toque especial es un mega soundtrack compuesto por Anamanaguchi. Que aunque decidan no jugar el videojuego, sí les recomiendo escuchar el álbum y disfrutarlo mientras trabajan o hacen ejercicio.

Scott Pilgrim vs the world es un gran videojuego y uno de los mejores de su género.
