This was 1 of the 3 first games I ever played. I played it at my cousins house and I think we spent the whole night jamming through the prequel saga levels lol. I love this game. I got it Christmas of either 2011 or 2012 for my own Wii. Thanks to my aunt, shout out Auntie!!! I played this game for years on end and I'll still pop it in from time to time. This game is an absolute blast to play. It follows episodes 1-6 and it's a game really anyone can pickup and play. I didn't even watch a Star Wars movie before playing, but without ever saying a word, the story comes across very clearly. Lego Games from this era (2005-2012) were in a league of their own. Masterpiece.
It took me until I got a new PC to finally get around to playing The Complete Saga as it was like on console. I think the improvements really shine with the lighting and the first game's levels. The gunship segment is significantly better, at least.
Other than that, there isn't really much to say other than, "this game is really good".

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga offers a hilarious, brick-filled retelling of the beloved Star Wars movie saga. Players can blast Stormtroopers, solve puzzles, and swing lightsabers as a vast cast of iconic characters. The classic LEGO humor, accessible gameplay, and inclusion of all six episodes make it a fantastic choice for casual fans and families. Though the graphics are somewhat dated, the game's joyful interpretation of Star Wars shines through with plenty of secrets to discover.
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a decent game, but I don't understand how it has an average score of 4/5 here, with lots of people giving it 5/5. Are people that blinded by nostalgia? It definitely hasn't aged well. I played this as a kid too, but replaying it now as an adult, I'm shocked at how clunky and repetitive it is. Also, there's barely any of that usual LEGO humor. It's just for a few seconds every now and then. The puzzles also aren't that good in this one, and enemies keep respawning like crazy while you're trying to do puzzles, making for a very annoying experience. The artstyle still holds up though. The game looks great, and the music is good to, being variations of John Williams' classical music, although it does get very repetitive after a while, hearing the same music over and over again. It's not bad, but I definitely feel like they improved the formula a lot with games like Indiana Jones.
My first experience with The Complete Saga was with the DS version. I had already played the first two games on PS2, but this was a totally different experience. Mechanically, it's very similar, but levels and characters had to adapt to the DS' limitations. Even looking back, it had a crunchiness to it's visuals that I liked.
The vehicle segments were an unfortunate downgrade, and so were the cutscenes. I think the top-down segments aren't as good as the ones on the console and PC version.
Still, it's an experience I won't forget.
