The feather item kinda raised the eyebrows, but that moment came back in a flashback once I realized what I was getting myself into: a puzzle game disguised as a racing game. You know, I don't see races, but now it's clear. Kinda choreographed, too. You're the only one who has collisions, the guy on your rear used pre-determined items to screw you over, the "main character syndrome" was actually real and no one believed you. What a sad tale. The main character being Luigi, yes I really gotta use him at all costs. Lord forgive me, I need to keep clear of seeing Yoshi in the coming days or I'm going buckaroo.

Why are these white obstacles on the same layer as the ground, how do I see those... Man maybe on Backloggd 2 this game can have its glory day, but you're gonna have to count me out. I don't think it's wrong to call this one a demo with all parameters in mind, even erasing the other entries from your cerebrum cortex. Ahah, jokes on you the cerebral cortex is actually where the more high-tech human features like personality and reasoning are and not knowledge. Yep you're learning things on Backloggd. What do you mean, you knew that? I would have taken a wallopin talking back like that in the old days 💀 time to move on to the next "Mario Cart" like the british might say. It's pretty terrible to play nowadays but it kick started a great series and it was a decently unique concept for the time so I can give it that at least I suppose.

Awesome battle mode, there was no timer, the way yawei intended. Basically created modern kart racers, decent tracks and a catchy soundtrack. Holds up if you play with friends, which you should.
I respect it's existence, but I don't really want to go back to it.

The beginning of one of the most addictive franchises in gaming. While it plays and looked like a slowed down F-Zero, the addition of Super Mario World visuals and more importantly, random items, added such a wonderful level of chaos to the traditional racing format of the time that it instantly became one of the most fun racing games to have ever been released.

Didn't age quite as gracefully but still a fun time. Especially for the cadence of misfortune you can experience in 150 cc special cup. Rage or laugh, it will make you feel something at least. Music and graphics were great for the time but track design is very basic and the physics, especially the grip, take a lot to get used to. If you ever really get a feel for it at all.
Need to go to the eye doctor after racing on Choco Island.

It's fine for being the first entry, but there is no reason to go back to this one. The tracks are very boring, but hey it has the super feather!
Basura de juego, los controles son malÃsimos y la perspectiva lo hace muy incómodo, entiendo lo que innovó pero todo se ve mal actualmente.

It is easily the worst out of the Mario Kart games. Playing the single player mode is pure agony and some of the tracks are terrible like the Vanilla Lakes which are just icy circles with blocks that bring you to a screeching halt and Bowser Castle 2 which feels like something a 5 year old would design. At the end of the day, it is still Mario Kart and it is still fun.
Don’t hate me but this game is intensely difficult to have fun playing.
