Zoo Tycoon 2 was my favorite game of all time, so when I heard Planet Zoo by Frontier was coming out, I was beyond excited. This game has taken leaps and bounds in the graphics and technology department, but that also has made it extremely challenging and complex. Not that it is a bad thing, it just didn't have the incredible charm the original franchise did. However, this is one of best sims I have played in a very long time. Well done!

I wanted to go into zookeeping, but my general health and mental struggles have stopped me from pursuing it. I can say as someone who has had training in college and Uni, that this is a love letter to zoos and conservation. It really makes my heart happy to play a game like this, providing a modern update to awesome games like zoo tycoon which have had sequels that miss the mark. The devs love animals and love this game, and it shows.

For me this was one of those games that you try day one, play a couple of hours, then don't touch for a few years. Then after a long time on the shelf you try it again and can't put it down.

The gameplay is challenging and can be hard while you are still learning, but once you get the hang of it you really start to love the game. What got me into Planet Zoo was watching content creators on Youtube that inspired me to be more creative in my builds. The DLCs in this game also allows a lot of content that can help to make your dream zoo a reality.

Man it's so much fun building pretty habitats for your cool animals. And it feels rewarding as hell to release some to the wild. It does get fairly unwieldy with fast breeding and/or long-living animals. Damn gharials

good game its so hard though
