"Talvez, em algum lugar, até um demônio chore ao perder um ente querido, não acha?"

Referência no quesito ação, o dono do gênero de Hack n' Slash: Devil May Cry 3 não deve ser lembrado somente pela sua gameplay genial mas também por toda a história apresentada.

Gaming's equivalent to the Messiah for the Devil May Cry series.
Name any action game that came out after this i can guarantee that it has some part of DMC3's blood in it.

Also introduced vergil of the special series.
Enough said.

While future games would polish on the mechanics and your move set, this game is undoubtedly the pinnacle for the franchise's identity. Anyone who likes action games needs to play this at least once.

Dante is a cool character, but for the life of me I could never get into Devil May Cry. The enemies always felt to beefy, the soundtrack is so cringe le 2000s nu metal, and it just dosen't feel smooth.

You fly around doing cool shit and dante says cool shit and you kill cool shit

It has literally ruined pretty much ANY action scene going foward. I can't see anything that's supposed to be "Cool and awesome and radical" without thinking "Yeah well, it isn't a guy climbing the side of a tower with a motorcycle then using said motorcycle to fuck up some demons..."

Amazing. But I have a lot of gripes with some choices. Ater the battle with Vergil where we get the gloves and boots the game really drops. The enemies get really annoying to fight, and it feels boring. The bosses keep being great though. And The story is pretty good.

Devil May Cry 3 is often lauded as one of the best Character-Action games of all time, so I went in with high expectations. While I enjoyed myself thoroughly, I couldn't help feeling a tad disappointed. It was definitely more polished than 1 and 2, don't get me wrong, but the Steam port does nothing to hide that ol' PS2 jank, and at times its frustrating not because of the difficulty, but because of that jank.

However, DMC3 surpasses that by still being a blast of a time and the most entertaining entry out of the PS2 titles by far. Despite being a bit disappointed with it at first, the game's last act really sticks the landing and has some awesome sequences that more than make up for the annoying Metroivania-ish level design you have to go through at times. The level design also feels like it gets better the more you go on.

Combat is fun, and Styles are interesting, but it really is missing that Style switcher the Switch version has. Which is why it frustrates me that the Steam port is somehow the inferior way to play this game. The Steam port is so disappointing and does nothing to touch-up the game at all, to the point where you may as well do the word that rhymes with stimulate and starts with "e". The experience might even be better!

Sorry, but that really frustrated. DMC 3's really good, and I'd recommend it if you're into Character-Action games, because it's one of the more notable ones in the genre, and for good reason. Although I think all of this datedness holds it back from being truly hitting the upper echelon and it could really do for the Kingdom Hearts "Remix" treatment.

Score: 87

Boom, boom, boom, boom
I want you in my room
Let's spend the night together
From now until forever
Boom, boom, boom, boom
I wanna go boom, boom
Let's spend the night together
Together in my room

DMC 3s fantastic soundtrack and amazing combat which still holds up nowadays is a ps2 classic that everyone should enjoy

A contender for best in series, DMC3 feels smoother and has aged much better than 1 or 2 imo. I prefer it less than 1 due to the location, but its very very fun to experience

Oyun oram buram PS2 dönemini temsil ediyor resmen, her pikseline kadar. Koskoca şehir istilaya uğruyor ama hiç NPC bile görmüyorsun. Yaşam belirtisi de. It's so PS2 hack & slash game hani. İyi ki tekrar oynadım, hâlâ harika oyun.

In desperate need of better enemies and bosses but other than that, a lot of fun from start to finish.

I prefer this over God of War. Fight me

Agni and Rudara perhaps I treated you too harshly - Mission 6

quero ser igual o dante quando crescer

I can't believe one of these actually clicked for me and it wasn't dmc 5 yet..this is just a really cool game. anything with dante and vergil is just raw, lady is a really compelling and kickass character and everything about the final chapters of the game were peak fiction

This game is absolutely a huge upgrade from 2. The unlockable combos were brought back with new weapons, the missions are longer and generally less confusing and more enjoyable. This is the first DMC game where they tried to incorporate somewhat of a story and even though it's pretty weak overall, I don't think the game was meant to be story driven anyway. The bosses for the most part are decent. Better than 2 but I still don't think they are better than 1 (Although Final Vergil fight was peak). I just think some of them have way too much health and Arkham is just pure BS. Personally I didn't think it was as good as everyone else was saying thar it was, but I definitely do think it was plenty entertaining and the combat was always fun.

Trilha foda

Lady maluca
o coisa boa

Really fun combat and engaging mechanics. I can't remember too much of the story but the cutscenes were really cool as well. Challenging game for modern times.

spent a good part of my childhood figuring out how to be cool like vergil

HA HA HA HA HA BREAKDOWN
CUHRAZYY?! HUH

The gameplay was fine, but when Dante surfed on a missile I checked right out and left the hotel.

Had to eat 2 to get here and it underwhelmed me lol ill finish it later
