i modded in 70+ characters, two of which were Osama Bin Laden and a velociraptor. Not a specific one, just a velociraptor.

Masterpiece. That's all.

This game nails it in every department. Visuals, music, gameplay, multiplayer, replayability... More of everything: characters, maps, tunes, mechanics, modes. While keeping it's competitive side, this was the one Smash Bros title that really cared about single players with so many things to play around with. It will always keep you busy and having fun with it. We even finally get a proper long lengthed adventure mode with the legendary Subspace Emmisary campaign, that plays like an excellent 2D beat'em up/platformer.

It's clear Nintendo put a lot of care and a large budget in this game, and it shows. It's one of the most polished Nintendo games ever.

i had a cracked chinese wii and if i tried to play subspace emissary the game would crash instantly

ngl... i got COOKED. shoutout Ady

It's lucky Subspace Emissary was GOATED. It fails to live up to Melee's quality.

Genuinely prefer World of Light over Subspace.

The game that introduced me to the Smash world. An artstyle that couldn't have been more unusual. With Mario Kart probably the game that I could still play today without any problems or signs of ageing

on remerciera le mode aventure

NAH WAHT THE FUCK IS THIS
(at least the story was fun)

I had a bugged copy where it had no random tripping and the character unlocks took literal years of me playing this game (subspace wouldn't work because fox was corrupted and would crash the game) but the tripping came back once sonic was unlocked. Moral of the story: Sonic The Hedgehog is the antichrist.

PINNACLE OF GAMING #BRINGBACKTHEREALISTICDARKARTSTYLE

perdi meu save entt nao vou tentar zerar nao

I don't really rate too many games from my childhood other than a certain few online browser games mainly because I can't remember them well enough to give them any sort of rating but I can say without doubt this was fantastic and I loved this iteration of Smash. As a child you don't tend to 'finish' video games but I'm confident that I finished the story mode, unlocked all of the fighters, and would play by myself vs the AI for hours on hours. Don't care to revisit this anytime soon incase it ruins my view of the game. Good game, good times!

Subspace is still the greatest crossover to ever grace this planet

I would sell a limb for another Subspace

Yeah just don't play it competitively and this game's really fun and charming

mais um smash no meu irmão

All my memories of this game are replaced by the mashup of the opening music with MAAD City.

Casually there is a lot of content in this that I loved so much when I was younger. Subspace Emissary wasn't what I played the most but is a really cool crossover event with a lot of grandeur.

Competitively, each character has a lot of depth to them which makes learning about them a rewarding journey. However, it can't be denied the overall mechanics gave birth to a meta that was hard to spectate at times. Also Meta Knight and Ice Climbers are on another level of overbearing.

NOW THIS IS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT BAYBEEEEEEE OOOOOOH YOU GOT SOLID SNAKE YOU GOT ROB THE ROBOT YOU GOT SONIC THE MOTHERFUCKING HEDGEHOG IN THIS BITCH OOOOOOH THIS IS A GOOD GAME
