Made a shocking amount of improvements to parts of Persona 4 I had never even considered. This was an already amazing game held back by a budget, and it feels like this is the Persona 4 they always wanted to make. It's more cinematic, the new social links are great, the voice acting is phenomenal, everything has been improved and expanded upon so much. I am genuinely surprised by how much of an upgrade this is. Persona 4 went from my least favorite Persona game, to possibly my favorite, even surpassing Persona 2 and maybe Persona 3 Fes. The only downside this game has is the randomly generated dungeons, which aren't as bad if you don't rush through in one day.

I would put it with Atlus's other masterpieces like Shin Megami Tensei II, Persona 3 Fes, and Strange Journey, but not Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne.
