God damn. I was kinda expecting to be let down, but I think the concept of giving a player an objective and letting the player decide how they reach that objective is just an insanely strong game design choice that has, so far, always been engaging and compelling. Breath of the Wild and Metal Gear Solid V really nailed that and this scratches that itch that I've been looking for since I've finished those games. I loved my time with the game and I can easily see myself returning to it consistently.

I won't lie; I skipped the cutscenes. I really did not see myself being able to be engaged by any story here, but I doubt that's the point anyway. The gameplay here is supreme and just plain fun.

This game is far from perfect, the story is honestly just bad. I usually have no problem connecting with a badly written story or characters, but no characters in this game are interesting. I could probably spend hours just shitting on the story. I honestly don't think there is a reason to do that since IO never intended for the story to be good, they just needed the gameplay to shine.

And the gameplay is fucking gleaming. I love how everything in the game is so dynamic, deciding what items to bring to a map will completely change how you play. It's hard to explain how fantastic the gameplay is to someone who hasn't played the game, it's just brilliant.

But even though I think the gameplay is great, the maps shine in this game. The most important thing for me when playing games is how well-made the map is. And Hitman never disappoints with its maps. Every map is so incredibly well made that it's hard to believe they aren't real places. Sapienza, Chongqing, and Paris are some of the standouts for me. I have spent hours just running around the maps, picking up different items just fucking around.

Like I said in the beginning the game isn't perfect. The story is a complete wet fart and it makes the targets also feel lackluster. I only remember the targets' names on my favorite maps, Colorado? No idea. Miami? No clue. Mumbai? Never heard of them.

Loved the hitman series since the PS2 era. I'm so happy that this franchise is still alive and kicking after 20 years. And that the PS5 version came with a platinum trophy.

pretty good! the first like half of this was a replay pretty much but the new stuff from 2 and 3 was very fun! some of the more "cinematic" elements in the new 3 missions did rub me the wrong way a bit but otherwise, A+

great great game. so much detail and very replayable regardless of the story. hitman 2 was my favourite of the three. can see myself coming back from time to time especially on some of the bigger maps.

yeah its pretty fire (i did not pay any money for this)

A great campaign with great replayability in the roguelike mode. The best spy/assassin type game on the market.

Grading them all as one game but yeah, pretty much the perfect Hitman experience bundled into one package

One of the best stealth/sandbox games of all time, if not THE BEST. This game is extremely fun, with a flawless level design and compelling story. Truly incredible

Terminei a trilogia do World of Assassination do Hitman.

(Copied from my Hitman III review since they're the same game)

If it weren't for the always online bullshit, this would be a 5 star game. While it lacks the attention to detail, atmosphere, music, and great story of Blood Money, it absolutely makes up for it in terms of ease of play, fun factor, and an astronomical amount of content. I really thingk the World of Assassination trilogy is the best Hitman game, alongside its much more interesting, if jankier, predecessor. Really a game of all time.

But again, fuck the always online.

I love this game to death it’s great finding all the ways to kill a target is so fun. Freelancer might be one of the best ideas of all time. Community content is also great

in my opinion the best in the hitman series, and probably the best stealth action game i've ever played. it was a great move to incorporate the whole woa trilogy into one game, and i applaud io interactive for making the less greedy choice (for once)
my favorite levels in the trilogy were the hitman 2016 levels, so getting to play them with the updated graphics, new items, and new gameplay features is amazing.
the visuals and level architecture is amazing, my personal favorite in terms of visuals is chongqing, with it's cyberpunk city asthetic. the soundtrack is also my favorite out of the series, being very cinematic and fitting with the story well, and the sound design is just as satisfying as 2016's.
in terms of gameplay, hitman 2 and 3 fixed a lot of minor annoyances i had with hitman 2016, including not having the ability to use instinct while aiming a gun, some awkward movement, and the addition of a green/yellow/red gun indicator for silent assassin.
the best thing about the hitman series is it's ability to accommodate vastly different playstyles, whether you want to sneak around and kill every target silently with no unnecessary casualties, or if you want to go wild and take out everyone on the map. there are so many different ways to complete any objective in any level, (except carpathian mountains, we don't talk about carpathian mountains) that it's almost a sandbox game. this also lends itself very well to speedrunning, as you can set up intricate kills and set them off from afar with all the gadgets and tools you bring with you from outside of the mission, as well as items you can find inside levels.
i won't be going into freelancer here, given that i haven't played it fully, (most of my time played was before it came out) but from what i have played it's pretty fun, albeit kind of buggy.
i haven't completed all achievements for this game yet, but i have beaten every level with the silent assassin and suit only rank, and done many contracts and elusive target missions. i've spent over 200 hours in the game, most of which has been speedrunning.
definitely up there with the stealth greats.
amazing game.

I hit a guard in the head with a coconut and the dopamine receptors go wild. Few games are as good at what they set out to do as IO's Hitman games are at creating the conditions for interesting/engaging im sim play. Freelancer mode makes full use of the systems and maps that often end up underutilized while playing its story campaign.

Hitman World of Assassination is a collection of the 3 games in the Modern Hitman trilogy, after putting in over 100 hours I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the game, not only is the stealth and puzzle solving truly immaculate I was able to get invested with what the game presented, that of a sandbox to eliminate targets in fun and exciting ways.

The only complaint I have about the game is the occasional bug and also the horrible story, the main story of the game has very little substance and was clearly put to the side in favor of the stories presented in the levels that are more fleshed out.

The first game is great, the second is perfection and the third needed more time.

there's a few stinker levels which feel like suck if you don't want to just shoot the guy and run off but also, you can just shoot the guy and run off

Manifesting a legal hitman copy.

Probably would give 5 stars but I don't like that it requires an internet connection and some levels are duds. Great game

i love it. such an intricate sandbox.

the best thing about this is how open-ended it is being able to go either as apeshit or as professional as you want. was immersive and fun chasing the platinum for.

An absolutely astounding achievement of player choice and interconnected level design stifled by a greedy ass bastard of a company trying to milk every penny out of you they can. Fuck you IOi management, I don't think you could have made purchasing all of the dlc more frustrating to buy unless you like, had to solve a riddle to buy it. Yeah that would make it hard to buy.

So fucking good, love this shit and love that they added that new rouge-like game mode.

An exceptional stealth game that I truly do not have time for right now. This one will be revisited later.
