Pretty good story marred lightly by too many sexual jokes/innuendos for my taste.

this is the best visual novel i have ever played in my life. if you are planning to play it yourself don't look up anything about it. just buy it and play it. please. Just Play It

If this game was more like the last 2 hours of the game it would be a better game.

First of all THIS GAME CRASHES RANDOMLY IN SOME SOMNIUM PARTS IN STEAM VERSION!! I could partially fixed it setting the game to 30fps on NVIDIA controll panel, but it sucks anyways

Still the plot is original and in the end I liked the story. In the other hand, gameplay sections is kinda boring, and I felt the game duration should be shorter (it took me 19h to complete it).

fun game with cool twists, played this because i loved zero escape trilogy but this game does not really live up to me. i didnt find any of the characters very likeable except aiba but the mystery kept me playing. definitely worth playing but holy shit the humor is grating. the joke where hes a porn addict just gets funnier every time they make it!!!! i wish they made it more!!!!

I've rewatched this game like 16 times at this point and it never gets old. Genuinely peak fiction.

A murder mystery "Just like my Japanese Animes!"

It's weird, it's serious, it's engaging, it's fun, it's emotional. The game is all over there in terms of tone, but deep down it's just a really interesting murder mystery with some very lovable characters.

It's a game that you won't forget, or regret, A-set!

I downloaded this game through Game Pass, although I'm not sure why.

This was so much fun because a friend who enjoys the game watched me play it. This is my first visual novel, so I was confused at the beginning, but I became obsessed with clicking on everything that had a window. It was very annoying to my friend. "This is a drawer," of course it is one, I just wanted to see the window anyway...
The somnium minigames were engaging and sometimes confusing, and everybody was so well written and naturally 2019. The ending almost brought me to tears, but I couldn't in front of my friend. The quick time events were so easy, what was the point with them? Date does things all the time...

this is one of the best visual novels I have ever played, and just game in general, the music for the game is really good and the characters are memorable and likable, the story of the game is really interesting and how they explain and have it played through, through the various routes until you get to the true ending is really cool, the game is really funny at times and also really sad at other times, the voice acting is great and the characters looks good too

I really like the game, the story and mechanic.

Overall a very good game but falls short story-wise compared to the nonary games.

The psynch mechanic sucks, and the second to last somnium is one of the worst videogame designs I've seen in my entire life.

I must say, the game until it starts branching was a solid 10 for me, since I was having more fun at that moment than with the nonary games, but the more the story progresses the more I realize how much more they could have done with what they had.

I get creating a funnier game with a different tone, but a lot of times it tries SO HARD to be funny and weird (action scenes, precisely) that it completely destroys the seriousness of the story.

A great story with charming characters and breathtaking twists, but the gameplay is spotty -- novel sections boil down to 'go to all available locations and exhaust the dialogue', QTE sequences are tonal whiplash, and the Somnium puzzles range from ludokino to trial-and-error nightmares.

Bit of an enigma... on one hand, it has some amazing character moments, I enjoyed the fantastical weirdness of its dream designs (especially a couple dreamscapes in particular that I found to be beautiful), and I couldn't help but smile/laugh at the utter silliness of the ending. And that damn recurring "Invincible Rainbow Arrow" song! Hilariously cringe!

But saying all that, there is also some odd humor that didn't land for me, many perverted moments, poor animations, and ridiculous action scenes (big understatement) that just made me roll my eyes.

Still, the game can be somewhat charming, but I feel it is the worst of Uchikoshi's works - I enjoyed Ever 17 and the Zero Escape trilogy more. I don't think I'll end up playing its sequel.

Wish I had super powers when looking at porn.

Simple one of the best visual novels ever made, only behind the creator Uchikoshi's previous creation the Nonary games. So much love charm and passion is so obviously poured into this game that nearly every character, scene, twist, joke, hell even line cannot help but make me smile. While it is a little silly the puzzle parts of the game essentially boil down to random guessing since you can never tell exactly how each of the prompts will work out, its never frustrating since you always get to see something amusing and its very easy to blast through again to where you are and the right answer. Humongous recommendation and once again only made better by playing the nonary games first.

kaname date the only horny character i can tolerate in all of fiction

esperaba mas teniendo en cuenta que es el mismo creador de la saga de Zero Escape aunque fue bastante entrenido con ese final meme XD

I know its about a serious murder but the game does not take itself that seriously most of the time and I'm here for it. The mind synch sections are a bit nutty and are just trial and error I would recommend to look up a guide to save yourself the time.

The story is great, and I liked the dream puzzles. The switch performance however was pretty bad.
