The only good thing Xbox Game Pass has ever done for me

Довольно интригующий сюжет. Тем не менее не самые увлекательные эпизоды с путешествиями по снам

great game and i had some funny graphical issues that nobody else i know experienced.

5/5 on Switch, 3.5/5 on PC solely because of these really egregious crash-related issues while playing. If you want to try this out, play it on console for sure. I've played this game twice, once by myself and another time with friends. Both times, it was really fun and most of my friends loved it too. The mystery was pretty well put-together, but I think the ridiculous characters and funny extra dialogue are also key selling points. If anime-flavored humor is your thing along with satisfying mysteries, this game is a must-play. The characters will come across as endearing for you, and there will be few parts that are particularly boring because it's jam packed with jokes and character-building as you search for clues. It's not a game for everyone, but it's sure a game for me.

I REALLY like this game, feels like a great successor to Zero Escape, using a lot of the same concepts in a completely different sort of setting.

This game is nothing short of a masterpiece and will always have a spot in both my heart and list of favorite games.

my exact memory is a little hazy, but i remember quite liking this game. turns out i like puzzles! who knew

fun game with cool twists, played this because i loved zero escape trilogy but this game does not really live up to me. i didnt find any of the characters very likeable except aiba but the mystery kept me playing. definitely worth playing but holy shit the humor is grating. the joke where hes a porn addict just gets funnier every time they make it!!!! i wish they made it more!!!!

I streamed this game a while back, but I finally got to posting up ALL the screenshots I took....I'm a bit of a screenshot addict tbh.

My stream

So this game, in case you did not know, is from the same creators of Danganronpa and The Nonary Games. If you like those kinds of games, this is certainly something that you'll enjoy with the mysteries and funny/interesting characters.

You start out arriving at the scene of a murder that was phoned in and after studying the body, with the help of a AI, you discover that they were killed and had their eye torn out pre-mortem. After this we discover the child of the deceased with the murder weapon in her hands nearby.

The main mechanics of the game involve the typical VN kind of interaction with choice of questions, QTEs and the main interaction in this game is the ability to enter people's dreams to discover what they may know in regards to the case or perhaps to gleam through their memories for a forgotten memory figment that's just in the back of the mind somewhere. This system is super secret, which is why you normally knock people out before doing this and as it's such a national secret, your AI also has a in-build self-destruct system to keep that information out of the hands of those who would abuse it.

If you enjoyed the previous games made by this company, this game is closer to The Nonary Games than the others since you don't have free roaming unlike Danganronpa and Zanki Zero.

If you still aren't certain, try checking out my images and videos (which I title spoiler in them so you don't spoil it for yourself) to come to your own conclusion about this game.

Simple one of the best visual novels ever made, only behind the creator Uchikoshi's previous creation the Nonary games. So much love charm and passion is so obviously poured into this game that nearly every character, scene, twist, joke, hell even line cannot help but make me smile. While it is a little silly the puzzle parts of the game essentially boil down to random guessing since you can never tell exactly how each of the prompts will work out, its never frustrating since you always get to see something amusing and its very easy to blast through again to where you are and the right answer. Humongous recommendation and once again only made better by playing the nonary games first.

esperaba mas teniendo en cuenta que es el mismo creador de la saga de Zero Escape aunque fue bastante entrenido con ese final meme XD

The story is great, and I liked the dream puzzles. The switch performance however was pretty bad.

It's all about the characters — the dialogue and delivery carry the game. This is basically how I introduce friends to visual novels now.

One of the funniest games you'll ever play, with an engaging murder mystery that'll keep you guessing and a cast of characters who you will grow to love and or hate.

perfectly fine. i appreciate the gore

A genuinely gripping story that gets hindered by how unconfined in itself it can be at times. Like how every single shooting section is structured around porn magazines or the fact that Aiba has to make just the quirkiest quips at the start of even the most important psyncs. And the worst part is theyre not even funny!!!!
This would have been a 4 star if Iris wasn't also one of the most nothing characters in media. She's not as cute or interesting as the writers seem to think she is and later reveals make her route (which i accidentally played first and gave me a bad first impression) super weird in retrospective.
The presentation of this game is great, the mystery is smart and well crafted and Date (aside from his awesome porn addiction) is a great protagonist. Absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes mystery/detective visual novels!!!

this game gave me the best 30-year-old-single-disturbed father and kid-he-never-planned-to-take-care-of-but-basically-adopted daughter dynamic i have ever seen . mizuki end you will always be famous

Highly engaging story with loads of loveable characters propped up by solid voice acting. The narrative is fun to weave in and out of from the butterfly effect system. The pfeel rewarding & punishing in a good way. Collectables are a bit random and seemingly impossible to find without a guide, however. Overall, one of the best visual novels in the last 5 years.

Bit of an enigma... on one hand, it has some amazing character moments, I enjoyed the fantastical weirdness of its dream designs (especially a couple dreamscapes in particular that I found to be beautiful), and I couldn't help but smile/laugh at the utter silliness of the ending. And that damn recurring "Invincible Rainbow Arrow" song! Hilariously cringe!

But saying all that, there is also some odd humor that didn't land for me, many perverted moments, poor animations, and ridiculous action scenes (big understatement) that just made me roll my eyes.

Still, the game can be somewhat charming, but I feel it is the worst of Uchikoshi's works - I enjoyed Ever 17 and the Zero Escape trilogy more. I don't think I'll end up playing its sequel.

PSYNCIN' IN THE CAPTaiN (Date's Somnium) - the route this song played in was my favorite

conspicuous magazine power, activate!

I've rewatched this game like 16 times at this point and it never gets old. Genuinely peak fiction.

Best visual novel ever made. Good luck to anyone trying to make a better one lol.

A murder mystery "Just like my Japanese Animes!"

It's weird, it's serious, it's engaging, it's fun, it's emotional. The game is all over there in terms of tone, but deep down it's just a really interesting murder mystery with some very lovable characters.

It's a game that you won't forget, or regret, A-set!

This was so much fun because a friend who enjoys the game watched me play it. This is my first visual novel, so I was confused at the beginning, but I became obsessed with clicking on everything that had a window. It was very annoying to my friend. "This is a drawer," of course it is one, I just wanted to see the window anyway...
The somnium minigames were engaging and sometimes confusing, and everybody was so well written and naturally 2019. The ending almost brought me to tears, but I couldn't in front of my friend. The quick time events were so easy, what was the point with them? Date does things all the time...
