It's really sweet to play as an enemy, who fought against Freeman in original half life.

Muito bom. Essa expensão é muito interessante pois além de mostrar outro ponto de vista sobre os eventos do primeiro jogo, ainda introduz alguns itens e mecanicas novas.

Those Gonarch-like monsters were very annoying, but otherwise a really cool expansion to the Black Mesa Incident.
The best of the two expansions but not great in comparison to the main game IMO
Not a huge fan of additions that OpFor makes to the Half-Life series. I still enjoyed it as a game, but I've had better experiences with fan-made mods than this professionally-commissioned mod to the original Half-Life.

Tbh, I kind of like this more than the original, but in general Half-Life is better game, but if you enjoyed Half-Life you'll enjoy this

Best side Half-Life Game. Fighting as the enemy and watching Gordon Freeman’s story unfold with a different set of eyes was amazing.

I'm sure you can imagine there are worse alternatives.

best half life expansion,from both hl1 or hl2,lots of content and adds a lot of new mechanics to the base game,this could really be its own game,and with the original and its other expansions forms a very interesting story on different perspectives that is pretty genius,lots of new weapons that add interesting dynamics and is just kinda of an improvement gameplay wise on the original,and is really consistent on its chapters,none of them are godtiers but they are all good an there is no xen,it still is worse than the og but is great

Armas novas, mecanicas novas, inimigos novos, historia totalmente diferente com os mesmos eventos, chefões proprios, isso é quase um Half-Life por si só, ao inves de uma extensão parece um jogo inteiro, desafiador pra crlh, porem mt bom(apesar da historia nao ser la essas coisas)

Not too long, can be a bit of fun if you enjoyed Half: Life. Do remember, that like all these old games, it is going to be a bit rough at times due to the fact they hadn't had gears of innovation and feedback to rely on.

Half-Life: Opposing Force é uma das DLCs do famoso Half-Life. Dessa vez, acompanhamos Shephard, um soldado das forças especiais dos EUA, que invade as instalações BLACK MESA durante seu blecaute, em busca de Gordon Freeman. Dessa vez temos o ponto de vista de um grupo de inimigos do jogo base, por isso, força opositora é o nome dele.
A gameplay é a mesma de Half-Life, apesar de termos ali algumas mecânicas novas, além de alguns inimigos novos também. Temos, em alguns trechos, companions, e também passamos por partes da história de Freeman, que acontece enquanto o jogo ocorre.
O enredo é bom, mas acontece algo no final que foi deixado de lado pela Valve até hoje, simplesmente ignoraram essa dlc.
Em suma, vale a pena jogar.

i remember liking this a lot when it came out but i think i mainly ripped the glove hands from this game and put them into half life 1 and rped a solider guy in that game instead mostly
