Bastante simpático, un capo Little Mac

Favorite NES game ever by far

Mike Tyson is 3 inches taller than Little Mac canonically yet they make him look like he's 7 foot 8. This game must have been made by the modern white woman.

far and away the best game on the NES. rewards skill like no other at the time.

Easy to pickup and play, can usually only get halfway through the roster.

I love the later Punch-Outs, so I kinda have to like this one outta obligation, but I can't say I enjoy playing it too much. A lot of the late-game fights devolve into dumb luck and trial and error for all but the most seasoned of veterans.

A fun game I will always suck at since I can't ever get into NES style difficulty

Worse than its sequels, but still pretty good. I understand the concept and all, but I sometimes wish these games were a little bit easier, just for less skilled players (such as me).

Wait a moment is this the Dark Souls of NES games? Hehe.

I'm extremely impressed with how well this game holds up. It's way more of a fast-paced puzzle game than a boxing game, so it has a really engaging gameplay loop. Probably one of the few timeless NES games.

I played this one for a bit, it was fun, but i had no idea what i was doing

If you like whiff punishing in Fighting Games then this is a game for you. Becuase that is all you do in this game. However at times this game really feels like a reaction test and my reactions are usually too slow to beat soda popinski.

I did beat Mike Tyson once though after many attempts. This is a fun game but for some reason I am often scared to play it because im afraid of losing, which isnt a problem I have with any other difficult game. Scary stuff.

was testing out emulation on my new steam deck and holy hell this game is still fire, easily still holds the honor of being my favorite nes game ever with one of the most difficult final bosses ever, everything in it is just amazing and I love every little bit of it,. and yes i did beat mike tyson 💪💪

Ever since I first started playing NES games, this has always been one of my favourites. For one thing, the gameplay is really addictive. Feeling just as much like a puzzle game as it is a sports game, the player follows the patterns and reacts quickly in order to damage the opponent. This formula works really well. As you play more fights, you are introduced to different challenges that keep you on your toes. Like how Bald Bull 2 can only be knocked down with a star, or how they start adding attack that can one-shot you.

There's also a bunch of small things that I find enhance the experience. The cartoony animations of the characters has always been funny. Seeing them go from stone-faced or even cocky to being completely dumbfounded upon getting stunned adds life to the game. Another aspect I respect is the high-risk, high-reward moments where the more challenging strategies can lead to greater benefits. Characters like Piston Honda, Great Tiger, and Mr. Sandman have attacks that do tremendous damage when hit by them, but if you know how to act against them, can lead to a big payoff or even an instant knockdown.

The ONLY thing stopping me from giving this a perfect score is Tyson himself. While the other fights in the game are relatively simple and can be learned after a couple rounds, Tyson is just way to unforgiving. The fact that his one-hit KO punches can randomly delay means those with bad reaction times have practically no chance of getting very far in the fight.

Hard as shit but really clever and mostly devoid of the bs that I feel most of these games have

Actually an amazing NES title. Such a classic.

So funny when you knock someone out and they stumble back and forth with that slipping sound effect

I concede that Punch-Out Wii is all around the superior game, but man does this one still hold up. It's one of those games that give you the hand sweats. One of the best titles on the NES.

i watched an interview where the actor who plays roman roy said he can beat tyson but only on CRT

Very Proud to say I beat this game without Passwords, its one of the toughest things I've ever went through as a GAMER.

Yeah, this game cannot be played on modern displays at all lmao. I'm fortunate enough to have played it on a CRT where.. the game is actually possible.

Honestly probably my favourite first party NES game. So incredibly rewarding to play, the boss fights are all super engaging, you feel like you're making constant progress and you feel amazing when you finally get them. Mike Tyson is probably one of my favourite bosses in any videogame.

A bit dated but still a fun arcade style game

makes u feel like little mac
