This was a surprisingly good COD. I loved the story and I played a lot of multiplayer which is not something I do often in newer COD.

Still not sure if cod fans like this one, but I played it much more than I expected.
This game came out unfinished, but updates kinda saved it. 1st zombie map was garbage, only 3rd was good. Outbreak mode was enjoyable.
The worst part of multi was skill-based matchmaking. Most of maps were fine, some other not. Not really balanced game, as every cod game, but not to the point where everyone plays the same way.
Campaign was good, nothing special about it.
Imo this cod is much better than MW (2019). Maybe not the best black ops, but still fun.

All but one zombies map is an area in the campaign and the map thats "new" is nacht, but campaign is pretty cool I guess

Campanha achei bem massa e multiplayer tbm

campaign was quite good. multiplayer gun game going strong to this day haha. zombies had interesting change too. still prefer older round based zombies

SINGLE PLAYER ONLY:

Black Ops Cold War feels like the reimagination of the Black Ops 1, with similar missions, locations and characters, but it is also a continuation of the original.

The structure of the missions are insanely fun, with some very surprising twists and turns, providing a much needed refreshment to the series. I feel like the ending is probably the best from recent CODs and that is saying a lot.

I liked the fresh, Doom style animations, even though I did not even care for the bodyshield system, and I feel like it is a very weak gimmick.

Addler and his group are entertaining, well written with great VAs, and I really liked to see the dynamic between Woods and Mason again.

Overall, Cold War is just a simple and fun game, that you can enjoy even if you skipped the previous titles. You might miss some references, but the story is self contained enough to be enjoyable on it's own.

Thumbs up for making my quarantine days better with the zombies mode other then that fuck this game

okay-ish multiplayer with pretty good zombies

Kinda was forced to play this from a friend and i definietly think theres better call of duty zombies (I dont really play call of duty only the zombies parts I like)

The campaign was good, that's about all I have to say about this to be honest.

You have a special place in my heart

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War's story is a fun premise, with very little quality execution.
Mason is a watered down, boring, unrecognizable version of his BO1 self. Bell is quite literally a shell character. the dialogue trees and "choices" add nothing interesting to the story. and the ending is half assed and not that satisfying; ending with the bad guy getting away, and dying off screen of cancer.
the best part of the story by far, is part of the last mission, where you have to dive into the mind of Bell, and see their brain fall apart under false memories and stress. but again, this falls short under the lack of character that Bell has.

Cold War's gameplay is enough to hold you over, but nothing too spectacular. the choke points can be really fun and engaging to push through, and the gameplay within Bell's mind is very engaging.
but there is little to nothing amazing about it. it lacks the non stop stress BO1 has, the expectations of a hero that MWIII has, and the slow resource management that MWII has.

story gets a 2/5 - while it has it's moments, this story in total is very forgettable. i'd say it's worth it for the level within Bell's mind, but it's a very small part of it.
gameplay gets a 4/5 - pretty fun, but little to nothing that got me to go "woah!"

3/5 - this ends up being another case similar to MWII and MWIII where they have really cool experimental parts, but i wish the whole game was that part.

A very short story. Interesting concept but it falls flat

I only played singleplayer since I'm not that much of a fun of MP games and this story honestly surprised me. It's pretty much Black Ops 1 v2, but it's a damn good copy, the characters I found interesting, the parts about Perseus and Bells brainwashing was really entertaining especially the 2nd to last mission when you're going through all the mind control shit.
And the gun play felt so smooth, especially when using iron sights.
Overall I gotta say it's a great SP experience, but idk about MP

Playing this makes me feel like a lab rat at best.

Really only played this for zombies, it's alriiight but definitely could not recommend now
