I guess I can't be that hard on the game as it is the first to implement the aspects that make Butoden games special, such as the split screen. But uff... it's so hard to play this now. Surprisingly clunky for a 1993 game.
If you're a fan of Dragon Ball Z what's not to love? Ehh, quite a lot actually. The sprites are sluggish, the moves difficult to pull off, and it's hard, very hard. The later characters you face already have a big advantage over you given that their health bar is sometimes double the size of yours but when even blocking their frenzied attacks drains your energy to nothing you can't help feel like you're ice skating uphill. On the plus side they did a good job with the story, with a very good mix of characters.
Es un gran juego, decidí conseguirlo en físico ya que es el que inició una de las primeras sagas de videojuegos sobre la franquicia Dragon Ball, me parece emblemático, tiene cosas memorables, pero otras mucho mejorables

C'était déjà pas très fun à jouer à l'époque et ça a terriblement mal vieilli. Les sprites sont un peu grossiers, les combats sont mous et pas très intéressants. Reste quelques thèmes dans la bande-son qui étaient chouettes.
I have it on the Switch as well because it was a bonus pre-order lol. As a fighting game it's absolute dogshit. Graphically it looks very nice and seeing Dragon Ball on an actual SNES feels really Super for anyone growing with it, take that in mind.

The Dragon Ball Z fighting game that started it all, as they say. After this game, Bandai realized that fighting games are where it’s at, and that no one wants to play crappy card-based RPGs anymore. And I hear that the recent Budokai PS2 games are actually good, unlike this game.

É realmente bem raso, mesmo pra época, talvez no começo dos anos 90 isso fosse legal, mas hoje não é legal de jogar, infelizmente eu achei que o jogo fosse melhorar mas os controles continuam muito travados do começo ao fim.
