My first experience with the Rabbids in some form. It was a definitely first strange impression! But the game in itself is an interesting take on tactical games! I've always heard this game is XCOM downgraded, but Mario is a more inviting and jolly world than XCOM, soooooooo.
I did enjoy the character variety in Mario + Rabbids and the different combinations it can bring and help you in battle! Luigi was my most reliable I would say just because the sniper and range attacks were very helpful for my play style.
Overall, the worlds were pretty nifty to look at as well and they all felt different when compared with one another. In one battle you're in a lava battlefield with ice blocks to hide, in another, you're in a brooding type of battlefield with Bowser tiles around. So the variety in the world itself is different enough I would say!
Some enemies didn't like you being aggressive too much, which I enjoyed after the fact. Just so you can't brute force your way through the enemies. It was a mix of cover based, but still aggressive, which I appreciated.
The only gripe is that the story was sort of just there. But I did enjoy my time with Mario + Rabbids in general!

This crossover should not work, but it does, and very well too. There’s not enough variety or any semblance of story for this to be anything exceptional, but it is decent and worth playing for the cheap price that it goes on sale for.
Phantom may be top 5 bosses in all of gaming for the cutscenes alone.

It’s a strategy game that relies on too much luck. There’s a lot of random chance on weapon effects and environmental conditions, which can ruin your game making you have to restart. Over and over. Fun. All of the boss fights suck. You get cool area effect attacks, however enemies are almost never close together requiring Rabbid Mario to use them much. In between fights you get to play though some of the most mind numbing puzzles ever.
i remember being kinda pissed off when this was announced but the game is great. all of the strategy battles are great and there are so many bonus challenges and bonuses to find in just the base game alone which was extended with the dlc. the game is great and really helped fill out a stacked first year for the switch

i really liked this game! Absolutely!
The battle system was tricky at first but after a while you get used to it and after another while you start loving it, because of all the weapons and their potentials!
The story was pretty nice, I had issues with some of the bosses but I managed to beat them after some attempts, the Megdragon Bowser’s form was SICK AS HELL! I also liked that Bowser Jr. said that he cannot be good forever but he can try, like if he was trying to redeem himself
I never played a Rabbids game but I love them, they’re such some little dumb cuties!
Ubisoft did a great job on this, my congratulations!
