More than a action platformer game, this is a puzzle game. There is fun to be had, and it's an interesting concept that I'd like to see get a modern take. Still, it's full of NES jank, I was only able to get to PHASE 81 and I just can't see how should I beat that level. I also abandoned the thing for like a year or two and constantly used the rewind feature in the NSO version, so I'm deciding on abandoning it completely and consciously this time.
Played for 5 hours and 59 minutes through Nintendo Switch Online.

the game is pretty entertaining in the earlier phases and i like the short bursts of brain teasing they offer... but as they increase in size and complexity it just starts to become rather exhausting, not to mention repetitive.
the enemies and fire balls can be really frustrating to navigate around in certain phases, even if i get that's apart of the puzzle in a sense. i also found foreman spike's interference annoying at times.
i might try to come back to this to properly finish all the phases but as of now i think i'm going to move onto bigger and better things.
