These games are so close to being my favorite Pokemon games. The only thing holding this game back is the level scaling: It's still really messy and it's the reason why I don't play these games as much now, even with the loads of other content this game has

This is a borderline kaizo game lmao. it's full of wack-ass level design and nonsense that wouldn't be in any modern Mario title. There's a certain charm to that though and I like how distinct it is because of it, even if it is bullshit at times.

Gameplay imo is actually solid, but it's unfortunate that it's obvious that it's had to cut some corners in other aspects, especially its graphics. Everything outside its gameplay is lacking which is unfortunate because you could tell that a lot of their ideas did have potential.

It's a really good game, one of the better Pokemon games as of recent. Just be prepared for a lot of glitches and graphical issues as the visuals aren't the best, but I appreciate it a lot for what it tries to do with its plot and gameplay.
