AKA Dude, I think I fucking hate AAA Games.

Story's decent enough but I'm not a big fan of the gameplay. Lots of minutiae to customize and a lot of it feels like it doesn't matter. Story felt way tighter on the previous game, this one felt like it was trying to do too much with too many characters so none of them feel important. Won't be returning for the DLC or side missions

AKA Dude, I think I fucking love indie games

There is so much love poured into every nook and cranny of this game. A Soulslike/Zelda adventure wrapped in a warm coat of secrets and hidden puzzles. Making almost every mechanic available from the start but not explicitly telling you about them until you find the manual pages is a wonderful way to communicate to the player. A solid challenge and a beautiful, wonderful piece of art to boot. Highly recommend to any and all.

AKA We need to call Earthbound clones something else because this is Something Else

A solid Earthbound-like with minigame combat and a bizarre aesthetic. A fun romp but not quite enough to hold my attention to the end.

AKA Bisexuality II: They Made It Better

When Supergiant makes a sequel they do not play around. A second area to run through, all the zones have unique mechanics, a new and engaging story that I'm excited to see to the end, and super difficult bosses. I'm not fond of some of the changes to the combat but it's not enough to dampen my opinion of the game.

The game is still in early access but I'm excited for the full release.
