My first Metal Slug was X (which is an expanded version of 2?). This here is the origin of the series, and right off the bat it is an amazing fun. Sure, the novelty aspect was gone for me, since i've already experienced X (in my childhood no less), but the first Metal Slug still manages to be a huge pizza of deliciousness throughout it's short lifespan. Play it!

X still has a special place in my heart, but 3 is the most bonkers and all out one of the first three. Critical ammounts of fun

Even better than the first one (which is fantastic).

The coziest game in the coziest series about breaking necks.

MW4 was the last time a new CoD game felt like an event that changes everything. The first time was when this bad boy landed.

The best superhero open world action game period.

I wanted to stay on the island SO BAD... cries

This game has the coolest soundtrack and visual style of any shooter ever?

When your expansion is so big, that the main game becomes an actual expansion of your expansion.

This game made me read trillions of text lines and love it.

Insanely compelling narrative that effectively harnesses the character based action of the first Black Ops and truly puts it's protagonists through an emotional and physical meat grinder. Love it more than i can express. The soundtrack slaps as well.

Beaten in one sitting (just like the original). Still to discover an equally interesting, absorbing and atmospheric puzzler. A monument to the wasted potential of Valve as a game developer.

My first Naughty Dog game was Uncharted 2. I loved it for it's colors, ridiculous action, humour, unforgettable set pieces and adventurous spirit. So when i first started this, I was like: "what the hell is this dour stuff, Naughty Dog?"

But when I finished it, I was like: "hey, that was pretty cool." no, I was staring at the screen and then I cried, because these were the most alive characters I've ever seen in a video game and I felt gutted being pulled away from their love.

The coolest way to kill 5 000 dirtbags when you feel like it.
All time hardest score probably.
