As someone with divorced parents, the topics here hit pretty close to home. I genuinely have a deeper appreciation for what both of my parents have done for me after completing this section.

Bioshock if it was awesome

Every time I see this game on my shelf I am reminded of my GOAT DestroyerOfMid.

No sion = no fun unfartunately

Quite enjoyed this actually, art style is great

The combat is fun because it's slow and methodical, but that doesn't quite add up with the roguelite gameplay, which feels kind of forced onto this game because every indie just has to be a "slow-burn atmospheric roguelite with over 100 hours of gameplay that's all a metaphor for depression and anxiety in hell"

2012

i was runnin through the six with my woahs (drsake)

i get to KILL people in this game

The opening prologue chapter or whatever is so so so so damn good, the rest of the game is a fucking slog

I was soooo hyped for this when it came out, definitely a fitting end to the series. Naturally though, the ending of this game does not tie back very well to the first even though they REALLY try to.

Thought this was a significantly better game until Octopath 2 showed me how a game like this can really be done to a perfect T. Still definitely worth playing though.

100%ed this but wasn't super big on the open-world take. Objectively a pretty damn great game though.
