I decided to review this along side Mirrors Edge and if there's a bigger sign that DICE have no idea what made ME1 good...it's this. Making it open world for no fucking reason, making the control scheme incredibly basic with very little leeway for learning new ways to do things. Making the most bare bones piece of shit from a game that basically had so much potential to grow from. What a fucking joke.

Genuinely a masterpiece of its time. A game with an easy to learn, hard to master control scheme. Plenty of well designed levels to use your mastery in and so much replayability due to that. Absolute joy to play.

This game fucking rules. I love this era of semi jank action games with so much charm oozing out of every single part of it.

This fucking RULES. It's the most videogame ass videogame ever and has amazing designs and while its very jank gameplay wise, it holds up that jank with so much charm and a unique identity.

A pretty damn good game with gorgeous visuals and great character designs. A hidden gem in the era it came from.

Once more, I have been absolutely tricked, completely DECIEVED, and utterly BAMBOOZLED into playing fire emblem against my consent!
