The people online shitting on this game is wild because anyone who played the first game knew exactly what this game would be like and most didn't even play it because they can watch this "free movie" on YouTube. Absolutely gorgeous game and super cinematic especially with the fights. One point I'd like to make cuz I'm not entirely sure if I see it as a positive or negative is that the enemies are definitely easier to kill in this game. In the first, it quite literally felt like you were fighting through hell to overcome each and every step of the journey, which was very fitting for the game but also was very frustrating, but at the same time, rewarding. Here, focus has turned into an instant kill, and enemies have far less health. It didn't necessarily bother me but I was honestly quite fond of the difficulty I faced in the first game as it felt like I had to master it, which here, I didn't. Couldn't even tell honestly if my parries were scripted or not. Either way I hope Ninja Theory doesn't get shut down because I can't wait for Hellblade 3. God damn I never write long reviews what's gotten into me

Not gonna act like theres crazy depth to this game but the people who on here saying its mid cuz they beat it in 15 minutes haven't played double or nothing mode where all the strategy and replayability truly lies

Phenominal gameplay and graphics for a game in 2015 and amazing conclusion to the trilogy. I don't think the story reaches the heights of City, but it outclasses City in every other way

As someone who doesn't play much rhythm games, this was an absolute delight. I loved the gameplay, music, characters, and everything else

I see what the craze is about the last few hours were so peak. It takes everything Arkham Asylum had done great and made it amazing. The open world map is also a lot more fun than the metroidvania map. Gonna do the post game, DLC, and side missions now

What a damn good game. Love to see how incredibly handled the mental health aspect was. Might get an Xbox for Hellblade 2

This DLC is actually genius and honestly much needed. Great to see GoW embracing the past.

pretty fun game with some fun humor but nothing particularly special

Holy peak this is a potential new favorite game of all time

Gameplay wise this is phenomenal but the characters and story are so generic, boring, and soulless.

I get the hype, this was absolutely fire. From what I hear City and Knight are even better so I am so excited to dive deeper

An absolute blast, but wish it was longer. That final Fury Bowser section went crazy though.

Coming from someone who struggles to get into both shooters and Xbox's first party games, this has been a pleasant surprise.

1993

Coming from someone who has trouble getting into older games, this game aged very well and hold up to this day
