Honestly I'm just writing this review because I remembered how much I enjoyed the game and needed to write it somewhere.

It's a game where it rewards you for doing (almost) whatever you wanted to do and I very much enjoyed the feeling of just being curious and exploring everywhere. It really made me realize how much I love open world exploration and made me want to look more into open world games too.

Fuck the Korok Seeds though, all 900 of them

A simple game with simple yet effective art. Solve the mystery of the Obra Dinn by looking at brief scenes of life on the ship.

I thought I would struggle with this game but it's a lot more simple than I thought as long as you literally scrutinize very detail. The feeling you get when you solve several deaths/ disappearances at a time is the most satisfying feeling ever and you get to enjoy the atmosphere, art style, voice acting, and music of the game too.

The most game of all time.

The art, setting, music, and everything is just so pleasant to go back and play over and over again.
Originally, I did play this game through... other means when it released. Later on, I finally bought it and was pleased to see the amount of updates I've missed and spent time working towards again. I seriously love everything about this game to accidentally spend tons of hours into.

I hate fishing minigames but at least it's overshadowed by everything else.

I've never played a fighting game in my entire life, this is my first one after watching a complete lore explanation series. I love insane, stupid lore so of course I love the setting and characters. The art and designs are literally art goals and inspirations for me.

While I know nothing about fighting games and still getting the hang of it (I'm pretty low in my floor ranking lol), it's incredibly fun to play against friends who has played fighting games much longer than I have. (Still trying to not button spam though, it's hard)

A colourful, artistic, and creative world of just kids, squids, and octopuses shooting ink.
The setting and the hidden stories the world of Splatoon showcases managed to keep me captivated. While I never played 1 or 2, this game made me want to consume everything about the franchise. It's a cute and exciting game and I love seeing myself grow better at something I never thought I would've played before.
Despite the shitty connections at times and the map designs being disappointing when I see how 2's maps looked, I still keep coming back to it.
