Much improved over the first game. Still has some pretty annoying dungeons and a lot of backtracking, but the internet maps are better to navigate (still very mazelike, though) and more visually interesting, the battles have new mechanics that add some additional depth, and the introduction of the Style system is neat.

2012

It's definitely an enjoyable puzzle platformer... but as with Johnathan Blow's games, I have a hard time divorcing this game from Phil Fish.

It's a great game that is a little too linear for my tastes when it comes to Metroid.

Stumbled upon this game while checking out random games on an emulator during college. The fishing rod/grappling hook mechanics are honestly pretty good.

I almost bought this game with my allowance when I was 6 or 7. Thank god I didn't.

It was very cool to have Sonic on the GBA as a kid... but the level design doesn't really compare to the Genesis titles.

An inferior version of Super Mario World that has the benefit of being portable when you're 12 years old. Lots of unneeded voice clips, same as the Link to the Past GBA port. Still played the hell out of this, though.

Bought this with my 360. Could never get into it.

It's more WarioWare but with gyro controls. They wring a lot of variety out of it, honestly.
