This game has a fantastic premise, offering a super fun and conceptually strong experience. The Quick Time Events (QTEs) are challenging, and it genuinely feels like your decisions can affect the events around you. Visually, the game is stunning, with incredible shots and excellent background music that create amazing, goosebump-inducing moments.
However, the game is not without its issues. For a game that relies heavily on QTEs, it needs to be reliable. Unfortunately, sometimes the QTEs work quickly and smoothly, while other times they lag, causing unintended decisions. The controls and camera angles can be frustrating, making it feel like you're wrestling with the game to play it. The facial expressions are also inconsistent, ranging from very realistic to completely ridiculous. Additionally, even on a PS5, the game experienced frame drops and stuttering in the last 20% of the game.
Despite these flaws, the game is still worth experiencing for its engaging premise, stunning visuals, and excellent music.

Review for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune only:

The story in this game has truly stood the test of time and is undoubtedly the best part of the experience. The characters are great, with jokes, quirkiness, and voice lines that are all very well done. The music is fantastic, doing an excellent job of enhancing immersion. Overall, the game has a lot of heart and charm.

However, it does come with its issues. The game's age is evident, as it looks and feels old. The janky controls and camera angles remind you of its age. This is to be expected from an older game, but it's still worth mentioning.

The main issue I found is the imbalance between combat and puzzles. I expected a fair balance between the two in these types of games, but here, there are a lot more combat encounters than puzzles, making the combat feel repetitive.

This DLC is a quick and enjoyable addition, set at a perfect time within the main game. The combat encounters are just as good as those in the main game, maintaining the high-quality experience. The story is great, with smooth transitions between the present and flashback sequences that keep you engaged. The mini-games are also a fun inclusion, adding extra enjoyment to the overall experience.
