I have to say, whilst I still think this is a lot of fun, it did feel a bit more aimless this time round. Some of the stages feel quite directionless.

Today I saw a really fancy car on the dual carriageway, and I could have sworn I heard DJ Atomica telling me to side swipe it into the central divider so that I may claim it as my own. Axl Rose was there too, squealing about pretty girls and green grass.

I resisted the temptation, and instead drove through a billboard positioned conveniently near the road. I'm writing this from hospital.

It's an insane, nostalgic thing to say, I know. This is my favourite Zelda. I think it's the best one. I have played LADX start to finish more times than I can count, but this is the first time I've done it since BOTW/TOTK came out. And those games are incredible, and my head would probably say they are obviously the better games, but Link's Awakening, Koholint, has my heart. I will never forget it, that memory must be the real dream world.

I reckon if I finally ever get therapy, I could spend a whole session talking about Link's Awakening.

I like being a little guy, I enjoy making him go exploring

It runs like absolute dog shit on the Series S. I would go into areas and have the lowest level of detail possible on textures I was standing right next to for like 5-6 minutes before it would pop in the right ones. Its sluggish and horrible to play on that console.

Heartbreaking, cause I can tell the game is great, but it's just not playable on there.

I'm going to make a mash up of Bad Moon Rising and Black Hole Sun, just you watch

heh heh heh, game paly the good noise when i do a good, yes :-)

Got this as a random game on my Miyoo Mini and it's ace! A real wee treat!

I reckon I'd have been raging if I'd bought it when I was a kid, as it's quite short, but it is a very satisfying wee game.

Oh and the music! So good.

Played this with my sons and my youngest got really sad that the Big Sis didn't have time to play, which in turn made us all sad!

I've got a lot of time for this game! Credit where it's due, I think the worlds in this game are really quite special, and each is crafted neatly and with care, which is impressive considering it doesn't have a lot of time to tell you its story. Environment design in a game that is semi-procedural like this must be quite difficult, but R2 manages it well!

Plus, it's just very good fun to do the shooting, and the killing and such

Really want to like this, and 2* might be a little harsh, but there's so much unrealised promise here. A shame.

I used to play this all the time with my friend Rhona. She also got me into Anime and Final Fantasy back in the day.

Anyway, she's now a successful medical doctor and I review games on Backloggd and think Kill La Kill is really good, so thanks for that Rhona.

Bad, obviously, but one of the more enjoyable experiences I've had playing 2600 games. To be fair, the Pac-formula is doing a lot of the heavy lifting there.

Legitimately one of the worst video games I have EVER played, an absolute stain. I cannot fathom how furious you would be if you'd spent money to play this, you would kick fuck out of your telly.

I think I'm going to try Suikoden 2, cause I can see there's something here, but fuck me I was bored to tears about 4-5 hours in
