Things I like about games I hate

It's safe to say that every game with the exception of like, the worst shovelware known to man, had at least a few people who cared about making a quality artpiece or product. So now I guess I'll spread at least some kind words to games I'd kick the shit out of the humanized versions of. (or just have negative leaning views on it's not that deep)

Rules are no backhanded complements (had a whole spiel about Yandere Dev being really funny to laugh at but deleted it) and no shitty early installments that led to better games later on (AKA Street Fighter)

Pokémon Moon
Pokémon Moon
Gen 7 is probably my second favorite gen design wise (nothing will compare to gen 3 sorry) Decidueye, Primarina, Lycanroc, Lurantis, Aranquanid, Golisopod, Type: Null from both a design and lore perspective, Lunala, and basically all the ultra beasts. All bangers.
Pokémon Shield
Pokémon Shield
My personal least favorite game of all time, but giving my favorite pokemon of all time (Darmanitan) a new form and making said form completely busted competitively is something I gotta applaud, I just wish I could stand playing this long enough to use you.

(Look, if anyone knows any good romhacks/fan games that use Galar Darmanitan I'd appreciate it)

Also shout-out to Runerigus, Mr. Rime, Falinks, and Dragapult
Pokémon Violet
Pokémon Violet
Once again praising some new pokemon designs. Skeledirge is my favorite starter of all time, I love it.

Paradox Pokemon in general are a great concept and I really hope GF does more with them in the future (the new legends game is based on XY, which had some time travel shit in the plot, so I can dream)

Tera types were a cool concept, felt like the first time GF made a new gimmick that wasn't 'hey what if megas were bad'

Also shout-out to Miraidon, Ceruledge, Palafin, Houndstone, Annihilape, and Chien-Pao
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Yeah yeah some cool mons you get it by now. My second favorite pokemon (Arcanine) got a new form and I basically ditched the game as soon as I caught it lol

Also Overqwil is the funniest pokemon name ever, shout-out to whoever came up with that one
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Morag and Zeke my beloved

"Welcome to axe town, population your face!"-greatest line in gaming history

Has a few nice blade designs when it isn't horny on main bullshit. Shout-out to Pandoria, Perdido, Gorg, Vale, Herald, Zenobia, Adenine, and Brighid
Raid: Shadow Legends
Raid: Shadow Legends
Probably financed a few banger YT videos
Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact
As much as I hate about this game, a full on open world game that's easy to run and on most major platforms including mobile, for free, probably gave a good gaming experience to poorer people which is somewhat commendable
Mario Kart 7
Mario Kart 7
Shy Guy Bazaar and Neo-Bowser City are banger tracks
Fire Emblem Heroes
Fire Emblem Heroes
Same when XBC2, when the artists can keep it in their pants there's some good shit here
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
Great art direction overall
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
All of Adachi's interactions are great
Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts
For as much as I shit on this series and will continue to do so, Hollow Bastion went hard as fuck
Kingdom Hearts II
Kingdom Hearts II
Same with KH1, the original worlds were cool. Timeless river goes hard, and I actually like most of the organization members.
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers
The cyberpunk aesthetic is genuinely really cool, most of the character designs are great, and Nemissa is just a really fun character.
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden
Sprite work is great
Street Fighter: Duel
Street Fighter: Duel
Great cosmetics that should be in an actual Street Fighter game
