Toys to Life Mayhem

Capitalism at its... I was gonna say finest but honestly I think saying ''mildly jarring'' would be far more accurate.

The toys to life of the late 2000's and early 2010's was one that I got to live just as I was getting into gaming, and let me tell ya, it did a damn good job in making kids flabbergasted and fascinated by what are essentially plastic figures. I would know, I was part of the problem.

This era is long gone and probably for the best to be honest, but still, it's still very interesting to look back upon, especially considering how some remnants like Amiibo are still present to this day... so why not REALLY look back on it? I decide to compile every game that features any shape of Toys to Life compatibility, whether is as a mere extra or the basis for the entire experience, with only two exceptions: expansions or derivative revisions or ports will not be eligible, and games that use cards won't count; we only want toys/figurines here, so games that only use cards won't make the card, so don't expect seeing the HyperScanner library or games like Mario Sports Superstars or Invizimals on here.

Everything else is fair game! If it supports any kind of physical object or toy, then it's probably on here, tho as always, if you think I'm missing something, please tell me, submissions are more than welcomed!

Huge shout-outs to the Amiibo Life website, a fantastic page that compiles every instance of amiibo being used, without it the documentation for this list would have been much harder, check it out!: https://amiibo.life/games

I like how most of this list is taken up by solely by amiibo

@ReeseyPuffy They are compatible with an insane amount of games but only in a few of those is anything really substancial. In Teddy Together (a game I only discovered while making this xD) every amiibo is compatible with it which at first surprised me considering it doesn't have any of its own and it doesn't have anything to so with any Nintendo franchise, but then I learnt it was just that it gives you a couple of ingame coins after scanning one. Many of these are something like that or a random costume and the such, so yeah, amiibo takes up a lot of space, but usually not for the best or most interesting reasons XDDD
Cool list. You should add ZXE-D - Legend of Plasmalite. It's a PS1 game with buildable robot figures that you plug into the memory card slot.

@TheRebeloftheReb That's such a cool idea, and I didn't expect it to be one for the PSX of all things, it's amazing to see such cool experiments. To the list it goes, thank you! :D
