This is the hardest choose-your-own adventure book I've ever seen. Loads of replayability thanks to its variety.

Play this game blind, it is worth it.

2018

It was pretty, sounded good, and was emotionally evocative. Unfortunately not the whole journey was equality captivating, and there were some very slow parts.

I didn't realize how much more they could do with this game. Played on my expectations, amazed me with the unexpected...BUT the version I played had some problems with the puzzle layouts that frustrated me in a way that the base game NEVER did. I played through the base game never feeling truly lost, but this game made me feel that at times.

The first 40h of the game were absolutely magical, I was awestruck by how the mechanics and map design all fit in together. The second 40h I've spent digging into the mechanics, optimising my build, but also getting engaged by story elements and exploring hidden lore. The last 40h however I felt had some weaker points, and I felt slightly disappointed by 4 out of the 6 endings. I've also encountered numerous crashes and performance issues during my play time.

I dont think I can give anything less than 4.5/5 to a game that had me at the edge of my seat for 80h, and none of its issues broke my experience either.

This game is nice. Good music, nice art style, generally good boss fights.

I've discovered this game waaaay late in 2012. There are parts of this game that have aged, unfortunately, but...there are parts that are so unique and good, that to this day nothing out does it.

I think this game is more fun than New Order, and it definitely has more balls to the walls Nazi killing madness. Again, it does a lot to vilify the Nazi world order and to make your fight against them personally, which I appreciate a lot. This makes the game extremely cathartic at times. The story ends in such a way I thought I was about the start a cool part of the campaign. You could say that makes it a good sequel hook...but I walked away from it ultimately unsatiated.

This game makes killing Nazis very fun. It is impressive how hard it works to make you hate them more than you would knowing real-life history. It lacks a bit of variety, but it doesn't outstay its welcome.

It is so sad to think that this game feels like a HUGE step down from Alpha Centaury which came out 15 years prior. I understand game development changed a lot in that time, but I would have taken less graphical fidelity for a deeper game any day.

I wish I liked this game more. I have BIG problems with certain parts of the game that really spoil the parts which are amazing and fresh. I hope it will get some post-release love and grow into the beautiful game it has the potential to be.

I like the setting of this game, I like the core battle gameplay, and because of it that I keep coming back to it...BUT...this game is lacking a lot of meat. Not to mention the underwhelming presentation, which can be just a budgetary limitation; this game could have done a LOT with a better campaign mode, instead of the mini campaigns. Faction selection is also a head ache in all game modes too.
BUT
The core battlefield gameplay is still fun and unique.

It amazing little scary game...I am terrible and playing scary games. I have to admit I did find parts of it a bit too challenging from a gameplay sense though. Will try it again later.

I first played it when Minecraft was originally BIG, thinking, oh look 2d Minecraft. Now I know this game has sooo much more.

We're going to fucking space bois!!!
This game isn't for everyone, but if you like defeating self-imposed challenges, this game is a wonderful sandbox. Everything you achieve in this game....you achieved yourself! Congrats!
