I have no idea why I kept with this series after this game. This game was not great. Attack with the 2nd analogue stick? Yeah that makes sense.

This game fucked up my wrists
I've beaten the game once so far with my Holy Gustava Empire playthrough. I will definitely go back as there's 5 other nations plus a challenge mode unlocked once you beat the game once. There's plenty of replayability.
I wish there were more SRPGs like this and I'm glad this series is back. Risk style overworld and actual invasions take place on a hexagon grid which lead to more interesting battles and layouts with the armies.
The AI definitely needs a tweak so it doesn't just give you wins in some cases where it leaves an enemy rune knight open to be killed.
They do seem committed to trying to fix some of the issues in future updates.
