Hotline Miami 2 is an upgrade to 1 in every way - better story, better gameplay, I think it has less frustrating levels, and an equally good soundtrack. It also benefits greatly from replaying it, since each level's placement in the story makes way more sense once you've seen how everything connects.

good music, fun gameplay, feel like the story could've been better (i love hunting down small puzzle pieces for a bit of dialogue to change and actually give you answers!)

also some levels are just annoying
