Just finished the 3DS port since my SO gave it to me for my birthday and they said this one had more content but bad graphics. This game is fantastic nonetheless. Very solid story, memorable cast and gameplay. I do wish that they'd make a definitive version of this game with the QoL and extras of this 3DS version with the other versions of the game (PS2 and mobile) and maybe use the DQ11 style for it? But as of now this is probably the best version if you're looking for extra content. If you just want story and nothing else, you can probably go with PS2. Great game tho.

While this game was VERY hyped up for me by others, it was still nice to play through (mainly after I realized it's turnbased and not ATB, I just like being super rush down in these types of games). Story was pretty nice and was kind of intriguing at times. I wouldn't say it's as amazing as it's made out to be by fans (I think there's nostalgia at play since the majority I've talked to say it was a childhood game and such, and I respect that) but I liked it. Overall nice story to go with gameplay that's... alright and leaves a lot to be desired. It was fun having my significant other be my Pokemon partner (they were a Vulpix and I was a Shinx btw) so that was pretty cute

The map is nice, the battle pass is bussin although it sucks Vader doesn't get bonus drip this time around :/

Ironically it seems despite the chill casual vibe this season has, it has some of the sweatiest players I've encountered so far

Epic Games has succesfully violated one of my favorite multiplayer games of all time. The way they absolutely murdered the store; plaguing it with microtransactions, so that anything not common is paid. While the core gameplay is still the same; that feeling of being on top with crowns is gone. Originally you'd earn crowns as currency to spend on premium costumes without the ability to pay for them. You could buy Kudos (which was dumb) but honestly it would've been much more tolerable if they made crowns buyable. Would've been the best of both worlds albeit that value wouldn't be the same. It'd be a hell of a lot better than whatever monster Epic Games made. They murdered this game and stitched it back together with microtransactions. Fuck you guys.

On a positive note; the new rounds are really fun, but there's no point to do anything except the season pass. Just grind that out and set it aside until the next season. God save us all.

Playing with my significant other is still fun but I don't have nearly as much fun with this anymore as I once did. Pain.

While some gameplay didn't age well (linear paths, random encounters, hazards that pop out of the ground frame 1, lack of skippable cutscenes, etc), the story was really heartwarming and thought provoking. I thought that Yuna as a character was adorable, and the overall cast of party members were all really neat. The return to turn-based combat was really nice (minus the few bosses that could 7 hit combo you if you did the wrong move), as I prefer turn based over ATB. Very sweet game that deserves more love.

I had insanely strong emotions throughout this. Rage. Joy. Sadness. Story was great, although some moments were really distressful for me so I had to take breaks for it (For fans that've played: Route C factory) and at times I wanted to kill myself, whether it was for something that happened in the story or ending E.

Objectively, the gameplay is not the best, it works with what it has though, IMO the story carries the game. I think generally it is a game everyone should at least try out, but they should be warned that it doesn't stop at ending A. A-E is all U need (and maybe Y if you're willing to grind for Replicant lore)

Overall it's an experience I won't forget for better or worse, for I've become as gods.

Solid season. The skins in the battle pass this time around were pretty underwhelming, besides Prowler, Erisa and Strange. I liked the no build mode a lot and it's poggers

Very thought provoking and emotional story. I would've honestly preferred if they mixed C-D into route B instead of having to been played again. Ending E was great tho. Other than that, the characters were fantastic, not many main ones were bad except the main character, who was still average.

Pros: Story, characters, world
Cons: average gameplay, tedious ending grinding

Joker: poggers but I hate fighting him
Hero: poggies
Banjo and Kazooie: Poggies but I hate playing him
Terry: very poggies

What a game. The story was nice, the gravity mechanics were fun to mess around with, and the overall storybook/graphic novel aesthetic was really lovely. My only issues with the game is that combat got very repetitive after a while, so I hope Gravity Rush 2 makes it more fluid and full of variety.

I liked the ideas this game had, such as monster taming, and progressively growing up. What I think held it back were high reliance on monsters in the first half, lack of human party members and some lackluster dungeons. But it was a really solid experience overall.

One of the most replayable and fun games I've ever played. This expansion is the biggest of all, and it added about 300+ hours of extra playtime for me. I 100%'d my first file today, and in the future I plan to 100% the other two. This is an amazing expansion for an already amazing game.

This is the game ever. I had emotions during this game. I spent time on this game and I played it.

Solid spiritual successor to Contra, has some nice variety, although enemy types can get repetitive. The combat has some depth to it, since you can do a melee attack when enemies are next to you, as well as different upgrade types, adding some variety in how you approach bosses, although the grenade powerup is very broken. The difficulty spikes are immense, but that's to be expected from this genre. I think that if this game had a more intriguing story and more enemy variety, I would've liked it more, but for a run and gun, you could do a lot worse, and this one is a very solid game.
