It’s alright, I appreciate that the elite four and Kieran actually have good teams, that I’ll admit kicked my fucking ass. I also enjoy the Pokédex in this one, helped by all the starters and my strong fondness for Electivire and Golurk

The story though was kinda crap. Kieran is alright but beating him is the only goal until the end where you randomly decide to go find Terapagos, it’s not bad or anything but I kinda wish the cover legendary actually had some focus on it, especially after how much I liked Ogerpon. Overall it’s fine, I find the Terarium a little less fun to explore than Kitakami & Paldea so it’s probably my least favourite peace of SV content but it’s still fun

This is the most ehhhh game I’ve ever played.
I really like Galar as a region and the lore of it and this has some of the best characters and character development in the whole series, however it also has Rose who might be one of the worst villains yet and the story itself is kinda dead, tou just do the gyms with all the story happening right at the end

The routes in rbis game are so lifeless and boring it hurts, and the wild area doesn’t hit like I want it to but it’s still fun discovering random Pokémon hanging around. Overall its still Pokemon so I don’t think I’d say it’s bad, but it had a lot of missed potential with the fun characters and good lore and story on paper being bogged down by uninteresting route design and a shitty execution of the story.

I do have to say though, I love how the gyms feel so important in this game, especially the champion fight, it had such an exciting big fight feel.

This game is ok, I don’t really enjoy these old SVR games as much as most. The gameplay is decent, Right stick grappling is neat, but the AI would kick out of like 5 finishers every match and it got irritating after a while

RTWMs
Triple H - This one’s alright, I’m a huge Evolution mark so I’ll enjoy anything that involves it and I like that it gives you a choice between DX & Evolution

CM Punk - It’s ok. I think it takes too long for Taz to really do anything, so it had some missed potential but it’s still fun

Undertaker - One of the better ones, it’s silly and stupid with the Zombie stuff. Could’ve been better if every match wasn’t against Finlay & Santino

John Cena - Definitely one of my favourites, I love Better-Than-U-Topia, but the 5 count stuff that happens in a few matches is annoying and makes my issue with the amount of finishers needed worse

Chris Jericho - As disappointing as the masked man’s identity was this was definitely my favourite. I love the middle portion when you’re investigating and it’s a fun little mystery story

Batista/Rey - Not much to say it’s just kinda boring, even as a Batista mark till the day I die I couldn’t stand this

I actually enjoyed the story quite a bit, but the gameplay just feels worse than the original in every way. The levelling is terrible, attacks now deal 0 damage & the damage numbers made no sense half the time, once it’s 200dmg for 12 hits, then the next it’s 0. Also I found the game gave me no real direction quite often, I’d be told to go somewhere and it’s either in the middle of nowhere or I had to go talk to 3 different characters before that, which the game never decided to tell me. Overall it’s still kinda fun, it is FF but god what a let down after the first.
