It’s the most perfect remake I could’ve ever asked for. The new voice cast are all incredible and Strega were an unexpected highlight. Peak gaming this shit changed my life

Story mode was so fun. Shang Tsung the absolute fruitloop he is was an absolute highlight, and I ADORE how the tower endings are all continuations of the story mode, it made getting them so fun, and a majority of them were great continuations and setups for the future.
I suck at fighting games so I can’t say much for the gameplay, I’ve had my fair share of online matches and am decent I guess.
Invasion is a great new mode, walking through the whopping 6 different maps got a little tedious after a while but the cosmetics you get (especially the last one) make it all worth it, fun mode and can’t wait for the future seasons.
Overall as a relatively new MK fan this is probably the best first game on launch I could’ve asked for. Really fun game even though I suck ass

This game is really fun. I hate the reversal system with its two buttons and zero prompt (skill issue), but the gameplay is still really fun and I enjoy the whole 5 finishers and signatures thing.
The game suffers from a severe lack of game modes, only having Road To Elite & Exhibiton, which in itself doesn’t have many match types (no trios, only stipulation matches being Lights Out, FCA & Ladder) but I enjoy the minigames even if they made the dumb decision to lock them all behind like, 10 playthroughs of RTE.
The creation suite is also pretty barren but personally I’m not a creation person so I don’t mind it as much as most others.
Overall I find the game very enjoyable but hope the future DLC/Updates adds some more modes and that they add Daniel Garcia 🐐🐐🐐🐐

I didn’t play much but the gameplay was simple but fun and going down a ramp/hill was exhilarating. Doubt I’ll play it again but I had a fun time with it

Very refreshing to get a break from Kiryu for a while in this game, I find the 3 new characters very welcome additions and they’re all quite fun in their own way (especially Akiyama). This game still has a lot of little things that the series was sorely lacking (SPRINTING!!) but I thought it was a solid entry and a big step up from three
