I plan on 100%-ing all of the Lego DC line of games... we'll see if I regret that later on. However, this is not a bad start! The gameplay and story are both extremely simple, but that is to be expected.

I remembered this game being a massive endeavor as a kid, but it was surprisingly small, especially compared to later entries in the series. It has a uniquely dark atmosphere, unlike any of its successors (much like another first Batman game). If you don't mind some lack of polish, I'd say it's definitely worth going back to.

While I haven't finished the story content yet, I have been loving hopping into a match or 10 whenever I get a free moment. This brings me back to my childhood days with Super Street Fighter IV. A masterclass in the genre.

A near perfect party title with great dev support. Pick this up RIGHT NOW. Seriously!

I know this one's divisive, but I truly enjoyed this as a return to form for the serious. The writing was witty, but the story had me emotionally captivated at points, too. Sure, the combat took some getting used to, but was enjoyable throughout. Definitely not perfect, but a promising next step for a series that was lost for far too long.

I loved this game on release; I shot through the main campaign, even 100% completing its content (including the secret bonus level!), but I can't find the motivation to pick the game up in multiplayer. Keep in mind, I used to play Splatoon 2 daily. If you're someone who has time for the online grind, it's worth the money, but for me... I'm waiting for the story expansion.

While it had more features than the original, this game lacked the real reason we all loved Super Mario Maker on the Wii U: CHARM. Well, that and support from the devs. It's still a good time, but I would rather dust off my Wii U than insert this cartridge.

This is an absolute masterpiece, a game that every time I think about it, I want to do another 100% playthrough. I tried to speedrun this game, and I'm not a speedrunner! It has the best movement and mechanics in the series, creative levels and objectives, and content out the wazoo. Definitely recommend this one to any and everyone.

A game that I love, but that sadly doesn't get much play time nowadays. Despite it's wide breadth of content, this entry seems to lack legs! Maybe it's natural for any competitive game to eventually lose steam, but I wish I played this one more than I do.

That said, I've put over a thousand hours into this game between what used to be daily sessions with friends, fully completing it's single-player content, and hundreds of hours (and counting!) of work in modding the hell out of it. Definitely pick it up, be you a casual party game enjoyer, or a die-hard fan.
