Actually not bad as everyone describes it. It surely is exaggeratedly hard and frustrating, but the rewind function of NSO emulator makes it playable. In my honest opinion it has very interesting mechanics that make it very innovative.
So yeah it's a terribly hard game but if you're fan of the series you should give it a try. You just have to consider the context in which it was developed.

Just why

Nice LucasArts Adventure, but I expected more. It lacks in characters' development and I found the ending a bit rushed. Some mechanics are cool, others are frustrating. However it's still very entertaining.
Recommended if you love point-and-clicks and LucasArts adventures. Otherwise you may find it boring and frustrating.
